Carmel, even after living for fifteen years, didn’t claim to understand everything about life.
She didn’t understand why girls cried after some break-ups, why penguins can’t fly even when they have wings, why lightning sometimes blasted in oddest times, how stars are created, why she and her brother were different from their classmates, and stuffs like that.
Oh, sure. She knew about all the theories, big bang, the ion of the clouds, yadayada, whatever those are. But she couldn’t understand about who created it all. Who had the powers to make it all happened.
Everytime she told her friends back home about her thoughts, they always had bewildered look as if there was something wrong with her mind. She stopped trying to ask after years. She was too different. Only with her brother she could be honest about everything, when those calm dark eyes watching her and offered her quiet comfort. And she wondered why he was not here, seeing as he was as different as she was. As irritating he was, she missed him. She hadn’t seen him for months. He was her brother, friend, and protector.
Those thoughts often appeared on her mind. She realized how different she and her brother from their classmates. Even though they blended well with them, she always felt something was off and shrugged it off from her mind. She always thought how ridiculous and absurd her mind was, and refrain from thinking about them, again. But it was inevitable, every quiet time she had, when her body was too tired for her ADHD antics, those thoughts always resurfaced to her mind tenfold. And she always thought it was a minor difference of hers.
Now, she wasn’t sure anymore.
Just five years ago her life was turned upside down. She supposed she should have had gotten used to it. Everything she used to believe, seemed surreal. She didn’t know what to believe. Her life had been built in shaky ground. She noticed how inexperience and ignorant she was about life, maybe she wouldn’t survive outside if she didn’t have her brother. She had a slight pang of envy at mortals, how peaceful their life could be and their ignorance about the danger their life were surrounded. Not only that, now she had those identity crisis cliche moments she often saw on dramas; who is she, really?
Apparently, Greek gods she had ‘read’ much were real. Uh, huh. That was really surprising. When she heard that, she gaped and thought they were fooling her. After that sunk in, she found out that her dad was a Greek god. She was a child of a god, child of Apollo.
She took a bow from the cabinet and a couple of arrows, heading off to the Archery. She stopped her track facing off a target ten metres away. She smiled wistfully; she was claimed at this very Archery. She remembered how shocked she was when a sun hologram appeared as her arrow was shot right on target, for her first time.
She hummed under her breath and tied her hair to classic ponytail. Flexing her hand, she willed it to relax and wore her arm-guard. She assumed her shooting stance and drew her bow. She aimed the arrow a little to the left of the target, which supposedly make her arrow shot right on it since the breeze was blowing to her right.
A loud bang; noise of crashing, resounded from behind her, and she yelped. The arrow took off, missing the target by few inches.
She winced, well, that was not as good as she usually was. She had to learn how focus and not to be distracted. She sighed and looked around her to see what’s the cause of the crash.

Honestly, it was not his fault in the least.
It was like choking on air; impossible. Avie sketched out his thoughts on a piece of paper that he had found crumped up in the wastebasket of his cabin, rushing himself for no apparent reason. His thoughts were racing - far too quickly for him to write down all at once - and so his handwriting was absolutely terrible, almost not eligible. But it was, he could make out his words, and slowly but surely, he was correcting his errors, spelling or gramatical or whatever.
Finally the child of Ares let out a loud moan, flipping over on his bed and laying on his back, staring up at the ceiling, giving up with the thoughts that he could not manage. ADHD was not his problem today; he was successfully focusing on one thing. However, he was finding that once a thought hit him, another did, making him tremble with excitement. He could swear that he was on edge, so close to finding the truth to humanity, and yet so far away, knowing that he would never get it right despite how hard he tried. He may have thought that he might put one and one together if he wrote it down, but alas, he was not a child of Athena. He was not that smart. There was no possible way he could have inherited thoughts from his mother or father; both were stupid and idiotic - one reason for having Avie himself, another for just their plain way of living.
The raven moaned again, shutting his eyes, surprising his own self with how vocal he was today, grunting when he received a pillow on his face and a grunt from a roommate telling him to shut up or else have his, and quote, 'ass wupped to next Monday'. That was not possible, and Avie knew that, but he was sort of scared to say anything about how wrong that was. No, he was not scared of one of his own half-siblings, he was merely scared of the answer he received. Sometimes, people could be so stupid... especially the people who lived nearest to him.
Granted, children of Athena were smarter than he could ever wish himself to be, and he knew that for a fact. Maybe he inherited something from her - seeing as her and Ares were related more than just being cousins. Techncially, Athena was his aunt, so maybe, rather than getting such violent traits from his father, he received something from his lovely aunt.
Even then, she was the goddess of war. Even if he inherited traits from her, would he have gotten her immense knowledge of fighting strategies? He didn't know... and he sort of didn't want to know. Violence was out of question for him. He knew that as well as... any other person knew that.
...Not many people got the chance to know he was a pacifist... of course, aside from his siblings, who loved to pick on him and his giant book.
He sat up, grabbing the pillow from his face and flinging it back at the person who had thrown it at him in the first place. Then, with swift movements, the child of Ares grabbed his maroon sweatshirt, pulled it on and headed towards the door of his cabin. He needed to go somewhere else if he wanted to moan and groan to himself about how he didn't know things... about how he would never be able to figure out humanity with the harmfully quick thoughts of his. He wanted to get out and walk around again...
So he did.
Avie slammed the door behind him, heading off in a random direction. He walked a little quicker than usual, trying to get as far away from his cabin as possible but to stay within the boundaries. Monsters seemed to like attacking him, knowing that he did not like to fight for some reason. If people knew that he wasn't as strong as his aura gave off, then he he was sure he would be picked on a lot. If he wasn't forced to sit at the Ares table during breakfast, lunch and dinner, then maybe he wuold be stereotyped so cruelly. But this was not for him to choose, was it.? Whatever Mr. D and Chiron thought was best, he would not interject with his thoughts.
But then he thought of how crazy he had been lately, seeing things that he was sure that no other camper saw. Whether it be a random raven flying in the sky or a kid just staring at him...
The green eyed male smiled casually to himself, feeling the urge to smile, and doing so. He was going insane, and he was not going to refuse it. Of course, he would not publically announce it either... but he believed it might be best to admit it freely rather than saying that he was not.
When Avie felt as though he were being stared at, he turned around in his tracks, though he did not stop, walking backwards as quickly as he would walking regularly. He first looked at the forest, then from cabin to cabin, finally finding a young boy standing on the side of the darkest cabin out of every single one; the Hades cabin.
Could Avie see the dead? A ghost whisperer?
The smile faded quickly, and he stared at those lifeless black eyes, raising an eyebrow of his. When did his sanity snap? When he met the girl from the Zeus cabin, Kaiden? She did not hurt him, she most likely didn't electricute him... all she did with him was shake his hand and then leave from camp with him. Unless she somehow make him insane with the powers that he did not know if she had or not, he must have went insane himself. Probably from over-thinking things...
Where was he heading, backwards? He was leading his own self astray, with quickened steps and a rather hard time catching his own breath. Seeing this child on a daily basis - or when he was outside of his cabin, which happened just about everyday anyways - made him think extra long and hard. Perhaps someone was trying to tell him something. Maybe that kid did not just mouth to 'watch out'...
Something caught the heel of his shoe, throwing him off-balance as he stumbled backwards over his own two legs, falling backwards without a thought of where he might land. Out of instinct, he raised his hands up to cover his face, though he was falling backwards, not forwards...
A loud bang resounded when Avie fell into what felt to be one of the many targets from the archery grounds, as that toppled over along with the child of Ares. The seventeen year old gasped when the lower-side of the back of his neck made contact with something hard and not merciful when hurting, and he yelped when everything suddenly stopped.
With closed eyes, he tried to make sense of what happened. He turned around and thought to walk backwards, only to trip, hit the archery target, hit his head and fall to the ground.
His head spun as stars filled his the black depths of closed emerald orbs.
Opening his eyes, he looked up from the ground, trying to make sense of his spinning head as he searched for the Hades cabin. When he finally found it, he focused suddenly heavy eyes on the side, finding no child.
He was insane, and now he had a throbbing head to carry along with it.
He let his head fall back and closed his eyes again, whimpering lightly in pain. It took him a couple seconds to realize that there was a rather bright and sunny aura behind him - a child of Apollo, perhaps? Hopefully, they could actually work magic with their healing abilities. Though he did not say a word, feeling anxiety and awkwardness hit even if he were hurt.
Ah, where was the ambrosia and nector when needed?
notess;; in the middle of this, i was hit with a sudden surge of inspiration that just died in the end. xD

Her heart skipped a beat.
She froze on her place and felt cold wind rushing to her spine. She felt her throat drying and gulped her saliva down. She felt trembles shook her body and flashback rushing in, from the time she was too little to remember. She wanted to scream with terror as the images from her mind came from her worst nightmare, she closed her eyes trying to breath in and hoping to make it all gone.
Unfortunately, it didn't work that way. As time passed, the images became more vivid and alive, she wished to open her eyes with her brother comforting her like he always did in the past. When it used to always happen. And strangely, not more than minutes, it always able to calm her down.
She fell on her back to the ground and her grip to the arrow tightening. And as suddenly as it came, the images gone to darkness of her closed eyelids and she opened her eyes slowly, fearing of what she would see. Not monsters, not ghosts, just memories. Memories that were not hers.
Everything was blurry and the colours were funny. It was swimming around her like crazy and she put her hand on her temple which was wet by her cold sweat. She couldn't believe that it was happening again, the memories of her childhood nightmare were haunting her. It started appearing when she was only three years old and had stopped when she reached her eight birthday.
This was the first time it appeared again, and without her brother here, she didn’t know how to deal with it. She just had to hope this was going to be her last time experiencing it. She took a shaky breathe and with her arms as her support, she stood from the ground. She felt weak like the times when she was anemic and staggered a bit on her feet.
She loosened her grip on her arrow since it was starting to crack. She didn’t realize how tight her grip was and whirled around to see a person lying under two targets from the target she used. She crunched her face, making a face. The first question on her mind was—Is that person dead? And the strange thing she just experienced was quickly forgotten. She felt her legs taking her body fast and steadier as seconds passed , trying not to fall and rushing to the person.
Well, she sure hope that person wasn’t dead. If he—or she was, she could get blamed by the death, since she was the only person there anyway. They could made something up for her motive; like she was pissed because the person distracted her from her archer activities, or maybe she was just a ruthless murder, or maybe—uh oh, her imagination ran wild. Of course they wouldn’t think of that of her. Except maybe Mr. D, since he tend to be impossible sometimes. Don't tell him she thought that.
And she didn’t want the person to be dead. It would be on her conscience if he died under her watch. Not really, but she could have prevented it. Maybe. But here she was, not even realizing that the person was there in archery at all. She would be extremely guilty since it was also her responsibility to keep the campers alive as she could heal people.
You can’t save everyone, she heard the tiny voice in her head. That was the familiar voice of her brother, oh Hades. She was getting crazy missing her brother too much. He was only her adoptive brother afterall, and they didn’t have any single drip of related blood. She felt guilty just by thinking of it as she always considered him as her real brother.
As she reached the person, apparently it was a boy. Except if she was a girl who had masculine body and short hair, which was unlikely since even Ares daughter wouldn’t look as masculine as this, would she? As he groaned, she was pretty sure it was a guy.
Wait, what? A groan?
She brightened up instantly, well, he was alive. That was good. Being alive was always a good thing, as far as she knew. There was no need to think about depressing stuffs like what she just did. She squatted down and waited up for the boy to wake up. She took time studying his body. Nothing looked injured, what would be the cause of his fall? She wondered since there was no stones or something which could possibly tripping him.
She looked up to the target and winced, it looked bad. It looked like it was smashed by ram head. Or maybe she was being too dramatic. The target was cracked on the upside, though it was not broken yet. She gazed at the head of the boy and instantly rubbing her own head as reflex. That must be hurt, she nodded with her own thought. And he must have a tough head for the target to be cracked. Her mouth twitched as she restrained the urge to chuckle at the last thought. It would be rude to laugh at him. But her eyes must have showed the humour she was stifling. She let out a snort and her body relaxed.
The guy—now she recognized him as Avie Summons from Ares cabin—opened his eyes blearily. It seemed like he was not focusing at anything, and it closed as he winced in pain. She quirked her head to the side and for the first time wondered if he was possibly having a concussion. Now, that was bad and needed to be treated right away. He let out a soft whimper and she moved fast and closer to him, and took a good luck for any head injury. Nada. Nothing. She bit her lip and realized how serious this could be and took a deep breathe to focus herself.
“Err... I won’t ask if you were okay since it was obvious that you are not” Right. She scolded herself mentally, that was an intelligent thing to say. “Look, it is a big possiblity that you had a concussion. I could heal you if I touched your forehead, do you mind?” She asked him with a soft voice, careful not to hurt his head more.
A silence answered her question and she had no time to wait for his response, since it could worsen. “Right. Here I am...” She put her hand on his forehead and concenterating her power on her hand. She felt power coursing through her and it was multiplied by heaps because of the pendant she was wearing. Usually, she only heal wounds on body. It was her first time trying to heal head injury, so she was not sure if it would have worked.
Father, help me. She prayed to Apollo, the god of healing himself.

He could explain how badly his head hurt. Was that a good sign of anything?
It was weird. He had never hit his head this hard before. Sure, he fell and knocked his head on the ground, or had a wrong turn on a bike and fell off and hurt his head because he was not wearing a helmet, but it never hurt as much as this. He knew children of Ares could have rather thick skulls - either because they were stupid or they needed it, most likely both -, but he felt as though his own head had been split open right down the middle, and he was just somehow staying alive to feel it.
...He was over exaggerating. It did not hurt that bad, but it hurt enough for him to say - or, at least think - that it pained him that much. It wasn't agony, because his own bony limbs caused him to trip and break his ankle back when he was around the age of six. Though, that was an unimportant matter of his life. A lot of people could have cared less at that time.
They did.
A snort made anger suddenly bubble in his blood, traveling through his veins and forcing him to lazily open his eyes again and look up at the girl that absolutely had to be a child of Apollo. Despite things being a little blurry and him just not wanting to focus in on things, he could make out long blonde hair, and that she was a woman. Unless it were a really feminine man.
She was laughing. At him.
The petite teen just didn't care anymore.
A lot of people laughed. Campers, mostly, because he was one-with-the-crowd outside of this newfound home. His siblings laughed because he didn't have muscles or biceps. Because he was a twig, to them. Because he was a 'stupid' nerd who carried around a big book. That right there was almost an oxymoron - morons could not be stupid...
Wait a second, that was wrong.
Avie rolled his neck slowly, wanting to just roll his eyes at what the girl said first. He had not a clue what she said fully, but he made out bits and pieces. He truly had not been listening. In fact, at that time, he could have cared less. He were insane, and this insanity gave him an injury.
He was pissed. At himself.
The raven propped himself up on his shoulders, squeezing his eyes shut tight when a hand delicately touched his forehead. If this girl could laugh at something about him before making an attempt to heal him, he didn't need her. He could manage to get to the infirmary, and if not, someone would take pity on him eventually, wouldn't they?
He didn't want pity. He was not a charity case. But heck, with the sudden change in his attitude, he felt that he did want the pity. Because his head hurt.
Jumbled thoughts stopped when he felt a warmth spread from the touch to his forehead to the back of his head. Well, at least the child of Apollo was at least trying to heal him. At least they were not laughing at his misfortune, or whatever. He was smart, he was smarter than most people, and he was a child of Ares!
...Stereotypical jerks.
"Please fix me," he finally begged softly, not forgetting his manners. He couldn't stand anymore of this nonsense that went through his mind. If he were home, his best friend would be scolding him about this thought of mind. They always somehow could figure out what each other were thinking. What look did Avie have on his face? Was it one contorted into pain? One showing misery?
What he didn't know was that he was smiling lightly.
Somehow, this healing tickled.
...He absolutely had to be insane.

Carmel frowned. Her eyebrows crunching up and her face twisted. Somehow, this healing she did was more tiring and hard. It seemed to her that her prayer hadn’t been answered, he could at least sent her a sign or something! Like increased power of her healing? That sure really needed right now, since this was an urgency she had to do. This boy had head injury for gods sake! She had to heal him, the least she could do after being slow coming for his rescue.
She felt her lip quirking up a bit when she heard him talking. She took time to exhale a relieved sigh before continuing with her task. At least she knew that he didn't lost his mind or capability to speak. That was pretty good, she thought.
She imagined herself running under the sun, writing some nasty poems, and her other favorite hobbies to keep her mind off from the fatigue her healing taxed on herself. She felt her hand burning to the boy’s forehead and her heartbeat quickened.
She started to see black spots on her vision, signalling that she would pass out soon if she didn’t stop it. She looked at the face of the boy and was relieved that he was relaxing slightly, even though sign of pain was still there. She reluctantly let go of his forehead and stared at her own palm. Was it just her, or her palm was glowing just now?
She felt her power left her and exhaustion drowned her. She felt light-headed.If she didn’t use her arms as her support, maybe she would have fallen flat on her back to the ground. The grass looked so plushy and soft, perfect place to pass out. She shrugged the thought off her mind and steeled her determination. Now, that wouldn’t be funny if the healer herself pass out, would it?
She rubbed her eyes wearily and realized cold sweat was dripping off her hair, and her camp halfblood shirt was damp with it. There was no way she could continue her archer training after this mess. Why was she this exhausted again? Usually she could have healed three people amount of body woundfrom training before she felt exhausted, now, she barely healed a guy head injury and she felt like passing out. It would be awesome if she could just lie next to the boy, sleeping would be good.
Her mood darken as she remembered her previous accident. The nightmare. Right, maybe that was the cause, again. Afterall, she did feel like anemic just then, was it possible that her previous flashback also taken its toll for her body? If it did, she had to find out what’s the cause of it and how to stop it as soon as possible. This was too tiring. It would be awesome if her brother was here and could shoo these little nasty nightmares and flashbacks away, since she was sure he knew. But life just wasn’t that easy, huh?
She yawned and regained her composure. She straightened her body and squatted to see the boy’s face again. He opened his eyes now and then with this unfocused gaze, but he still looked way better than before. His eyelids fluttered and he seemed to be on the edge of unconscious and conscious world. She waved her hand in front of him to catch his attention and narrowed her eyes to study his condition.
“Hey, are you okay? Feel any better? I didn’t mess up your head injury more, did I?” She chuckled nervously and grimaced at the possiblity. Oh gods, what if she just turned his brain upside down, or blended his brain juice, or squashed his brain to his skull, or—ah forget it. She was getting herself paranoid for nothing. Or at least she hoped so.
Human—or in this case Demigod’s brain is complicated thing.
She caught sight of her bottled water she brought there and had a brilliant idea—or she thought it was pretty great. “Do you want water? I don’t have nectar or ambrosia with me, sorry. Do you want me to bring you to infirmary?” She asked him, getting concerned. She opened her water bottle and handed it to him as gently as she could. Just in case he needed it.
Besides, it would be really, really bad if she really did mess his head. There was no guarantee she could fix it again, more likely because she didn’t even know what she was doing. Let’s just hope she hadn’t managed to mess anything up this time, because the consequences are dire. They were talking about the life of human—demigod after all. Gods, just thinking of that, makes her feel like some kind of superhero. Saving lifes, yadayada. It would make her day more perfect if she hadn't messed up anyone's brain.

Kyle walked along the pathway around the cabins, depressed out of his mind. "Why Hector Hades? Why? Damn it!" he yelled, looking at the ground and sky, his eyes a little red from all the news he had caught up on. It was horrible. He found out his Best friend was belived dead.
Hector had Been on an errand from his father, some reason or another that no one learned about. Kyle had been away, and Hector went solo. He was still MIA and believed KIA due to the news report.
The report was that a huge fire had burst into life in Idaho on a train, wounding many but luckily all the mortals survived. But hector had vanished.
Kyle looked over at the Hephaestus cabin, missing his friend and sat down, his back to the Poseidon one and asked," Poseidon, can I sit here for a minute?" The no response he took as an OK from him. Kyle Looked up at the sky, unable to believe that so much had changed in his life. Hector gone, and a number of his friends were gone as well. Kyle's mind ran through the faces, all just as depressing to him.
Justin and his twin, both MIA after there last quest with Kurtis and Kenji. Kurtis and Kenji gone to visit their dad who was finally awake in the hospital. Logan ran away to search for his sister. Mark was on a current quest and probably got lost or was stealing something or plain just ran awake in that car of his. And Val..... that was almost as depressing as Hector. Val finally went crazy after a time. He was in the big house now, sometimes no more then a blithering idiot and then at times it looked like he was almost coming back........ but then he was gone again, just a shell that Kyle Took car of in case his friend came back. Kyle looked down, his feelings for that almost overwhelming him, but someone had different Ideas.
Kyle felt a fist reach his head and Pain flared. Black spots danced across his eyes and He cursed," Zeus Damn you, That hurt!" And he looked up, seeing a boy taller then by several inches, wearing black leather armor jacket, sunglasses, and as pale as an infant. Jay. "Come with me," Jay said," Lifting Kyle off the ground with ease, setting him on his feet. Kyle felt manhandled, but knew it was nop use to fit that man. Son of ares, Jay was one bad ass dude that you didn't mess with. Plus, his little friend was terrifying enough. Kyle smirked as the little hell hound appeared in Jay's shadow as Kyle followed Jay."Hows it doing whip out?" Kyle asked the hound, petting his head. Whip out gave a doggy smile as then ran ahead, sniffing around as Jay pulled him into the arena, and Pulled a sword from his back. "Draw your weapon," He said, and Kyle frowned."Not now jay," Kyle said, turning and tried to walk out. He heard the minuture movement and Kyle turned, raising his hands and his gauntlets appeared in his hands, blocking the blade as it sailed down. "Jay, What the hell man?" Kyle asked, and Jay pulled another sword and Swung it at him. Kyle jumped back, and flew up, trying to get away. He almost did, But he felt a hand of iron grab his foot.
"SHIT!" Kyle Yelled as He was slammed into the floor by jay's strength. Kyle looked up, seeing jay swinging his sword again and He rolled, trying to get out of the way and He pulled his sword from the quiver on his back. Jay smirked, giving Kyle the time to get up and said," Good. about time you started to fight," And he put the swords away, and Pulled a war Axe from his back, heaving it in one hand. Kyle took a step back, thinking," Screwed screwed screwed i am," but attacked his friend anyway. Jay could beat him easily. That axe gave him double the strength and speed he possessed when ever he was touching it. Kyle felt his blade blocked as he tired to swing it across Jay's chest, and felt another fist touch his check. Kyle rolled with it, But it still hurt. Kyle backed away, Deflecting a lazy blow of jay's with his sword and jay kept pressing him. Kyle kept blocking, giving more ground as he did. Jay Flashed out with downward strike, kyle Holding up his sword to block it. The axe came into contact with the blade and drove Kyle to his knees. Quiet painfully. Kyle glared and pointed at jay with his finger tips, and lightning escaped the flesh and metal gauntlets and blasted Jay. Only, Jay wasn't there anymore. Jay had moved before Kyle hand pointed, and The councilor of the Zeus cabin felt another fist hit him across the head. Kyle fell forward and lay on the ground, panting.
A shadow fell above him and Kyle looked up to see the giant jay standing there, and Jay moved his sunglasses up to his head and asked," Feel better now?" Kyle chuckled and pushed himself up, saying," Give me a hand you big ogre." Jay grabbed his shoulder and Pulled kyle up, helping him to his feet. Kyle staggered a little and said," yeah, Better at least emotionally. It's good to see that someone i knew before is still here and sain. How it been jay?" Jay shrugged, saying," Almost the same. New campers, different faces, same old camp half blood though." Kyle liked how that sounded. "And damn, You gave me a fracen headache, or you split my skull. You had to hit me so hard?" Jay only gave the smallest of smirked before it disappeared."Come then. No way i am hanging around this place with you ready to kick my ass again," Kyle said, walking out of the arena with an ammused jay at his heels and whip out at jay's.
Kyle walked straight to the infermery. It was easy though when they saw Jay walk in with him. He was the source of many camper's injuries in the sparing arena. He didn't bully people, he was just that good of a fighter. Made his father proud anyways. Kyle knew his way around to, when he burnt himself or just tripped down the stairs(Don't ask). They let him walk through and get some nectar, after seeing that his skull did not in fact, have a crack in it. It was just bleeding, and bruising pretty bad. Kyle took a sip, tasting a sweet drink. he couldn't place it anymore, for it hand changed since it tasting like tacos, but it was different now. He couldn't place it yet, but thanked the Dryad for the help and walked outside, taking another sip and feeling the pain in his head going away."Thanks jay," Kyle said, and got a nod from his friend instead. Kyle took a step back to the arena, but then heard a crash over the wind. From the archery range. They went that far from it not to hear it."Lets check it out," Kyle said, taking another sip of nector and started to jog over. Jay rolled his eyes behind his sunglasses but followed.
When kyle got there, everything was slightly confusing. A guy on the ground, and he was, if he heard right, to fix him. From the glow in the girl's hand, he was guessing child of Apollo. Jay stiffened slightly and said ," avie." Kyle looked at him and asked," You know him?" Jay nodded, saying," He was a new face in my cabin." Kyle nodded, and walked over with about as mush tack as a mouse." Hey, you two ok?" Kyle asked, his gave looking from the girl to the boy, avie, in turn. He didn't know her name. Jay walked over and looked right now at avie, and said," Avie, you OK?" Jay wasn't asking if he was OK physically, but mentally. Kyle put a hand on jay's shoulder, way up there on jay's 6 foot 11 inches shoulders, and said," Don;t tell me he gets the same treatment as me, because i don;t think he would last a minute in the arena with you my friend." It was a joke, but it got a smirk out of jay and Kyle laughed."Oh, call me kyle. What can we call you guys?" Notes: 1439 words. I have impressed myself. lolz

It was easy to tell right from wrong. Up from down; left to right, even the bright colors to the darker colors. Avie opened his eyes again and sighed lightly, cursing his clumsy self; his wobbly legs and inability to think quick enough. He couldn't respond to falling backwards, so how would he be able to save himself if something bigger were to happen?
So he could tell that something was happening from this girl; he just had not a clue what.
How children of Apollo had healing powers, this male would never know. They were amazing, how they could manage to have such great abilities. Meanwhile, Avie was left with nothing but his self - perhaps that was what he received for trying to make this world a better place with one less person addicted to violence. However, he wasn't helping anyone, let alone himself. He had not one amazing skill that could help people in this world; all he had was a common inteligence that most people somehow managed to have. Other than that, he was a person who never smiled, too awkward to talk, too clumsy for his own good...
“Hey, are you okay?" Didn't she just say she would not ask that? Avie was slightly confused. "Feel any better? I didn’t mess up your head injury more, did I?” Well, it truly would be horrible if she had messed up something in her healing powers, but, alas, they were healing powers. He highly doubted she could have done anything to make his injury worse... but he did not want to make that a possibility. With his luck, it would be... but he didn't believe that his injury was worse. In fact, it felt a lot better than it had seconds ago. He could take in more details of the girl - and with that, he looked at her eyes and noticed how pretty they were.
He liked eyes best on the mortal's face. Not the lips, the nose or the dimples from their smiles; their eyes.
“Do you want water? I don’t have nectar or ambrosia with me, sorry. Do you want me to bring you to infirmary?” her voice broke his thoughts again, and he felt a simple smile tug at his lips when he noticed the bottle of water she held out. Wow... she was nicer than most people.
Though he learned that from Kaiden. Wow... Kaiden. He could only imagine her reaction if she had seen him like this. She would probably laugh at his two left feet, and then she would help him. He took the bottle of water and shakily brought it to his lips, tilting his head back and taking a sip. Wow, he had not realized he was thirsty until, well, just now as he drank. However, he only took a sip, not wanting to finish this girl's water. She was kind enough to waste her energy on him. Eventually he would have been able to stand up and walk to the infirmary. She could have left him there for fun of it, but she hadn't. She had taken mercy on him, on clumsy Avie, and he was happy that she hadn't laughed.
...At least, laughed all that much.
When two rather familiar and yet rather different feelings washed over the child of Ares, Avie groaned, not really wanting to communicate with anyone else. But he had to, because someone asked if he were okay, his name was stated from one of the people, and then someone introduced their self.
Avie pushed himself into a sitting position, glancing over at the two males who had approached them; both looking rather hot and sweaty. Perhaps they were sparring with each other - one of them was a child of Ares.
And Avie called other people stereotypical.
The raven's eyes narrowed on his half-brother, eyebrows furrowing together. Was Jay truly asking that? Asking if his own brother were okay in the state of mind? Avie could tell that was what he were talking about, with that tone of voice, and it annoyed the pacifist. Who would talk about something so personal in front of complete strangers? "I am rather fine," he whispered carefully, choosing his words with a difficulty. Sporting a throbbing head while trying to talk to someone he didn't particularly like was rather hard.
And then the child of Zeus - telling by the aura - said something that slightly confused the seventeen year old. "Don't tell me he gets the same treatment as me, because i don't think he would last a minute in the arena with you my friend." Was that supposed to not be heard by Avie? The raven growled, now wishing for them to be gone, wishing that Jay and whatever-his-name-was would just go back to what they were doing before they had to come here. They were making this particularly child of Ares suddenly annoyed, more annoyed than he had been a couple minutes ago. He only wanted this daughter of Apollo here... because she was at least kind enough to keep any offensive thoughts in her head.
."Oh, call me Kyle. What can we call you guys?" said Kyle.
Avie stopped glaring at his half brother and instead glared at the child of Zeus, before finally giving up and closing his eyes, removing one of the hands that supported himself and rubbing the back of his head. "Oi, Kyle," he grumbled, hissing slightly at the contact to his wound. "Why don't you call me an insane weakling?" Despite being sarcastic, he was not joking around. Jay made this lanky teen seem like some mental person with rather awful issues, and Kyle made him seem like someone who could not stand a chance against their own sibling.
Though, that part was true.
"Sorry," he then apologized, opening his eyes and smiling sheepishly at the girl. "Thank you very much for your help. Y-y-yes... if you c-could take..." Why was it now that he was suddenly finding himself feeling awkward again? Darn his inabilities to not be the social butterfly he sometimes wanted to be. "...m-me to the infimary, th-that would be fine. Bu-but I don't think you would be-be able to support me..." Even if he weighed less than the average seventeen year old, he somehow doubted that this girl could support his weight. She might, though, but from what he saw, she did not look as strong as... well, as some people could be.
But then look at himself. He was a child of Ares, for pete's sake, and he was weaker than... than he could actually be.
"I would be grateful," he said softly, smiling again, oblivious to how heavy his british accent sounded there. "for your help."
notess;; be proud, kyle. be proud. and was jay accepted yet? even so, i am happy with avie and jay's brotherly love. xD

She just realized how stupid she sounded when she asked the question. The ‘are you okay’ question, since she did tell him that she wouldn’t ask of that. Oh, well. It came out from her lips, she couldn’t help it. She noticed the rather confused gaze of the boy and instantly rolled her eye to herself. Uh-huh, her brain was not working right, usually she wasn’t this dumb—or so she thought.
She shook her head fervently and cleared her head, wondering what on earth caused those unimportant thought to resurface in her mind. It wouldn’t matter what she asked anyway, she just wanted to know if the boy was okay and whether if she just managed to mess up his head injury more—which was the worst possiblity it could come out. Instead of being superhero, she would be the villain if this happened. Again with the superhero reference.
She noticed that his gaze grew more focused as seconds ticked by. That was good, she thought. That signalled that he was being better, right? She sure hoped so.
Healing powers were awesome, and she loved it. But it was no good in offense, or even defense. She couldn’t save herself, but she could save everyone. Every good things really have its price. But it would be totally awesome if she could have the powers to inflict pain, the opposite from healing. She could have it as offense since spouting off song which could affect enemy as offense was kinda lame and uneffective. Don’t tell her dad she thought of that.
But then again, if she had the powers, maybe she wouldn’t be able to use it. She never felt any good from hurting people. Sword training and battling monsters was one thing, but if she was out there and had to faced off some evils, maybe she would stop to consider hurting them. She preferred for them to die fast and painless, rather than dragged on their misery. Maybe she was better off this way.
She asked him about his head injury; whether if she had messed it up more—gods forbid. Would he even know about that? Head wound was not as simple as body injury by far.
Grinning awkwardly, she noticed he was studying her. Uh-huh, she hoped there was nothing out of place with her. She was not used with being stared at, and this was weird and awkward.
She let out a huge relieved sigh when he took the bottled she offered him. Maybe water would sped up his health? It certainly would dry her throat if she just had a fall like that. She chuckled when water dripped out from his mouth, well it certainly would be easier to drink by sitting up.
Stiffening, there was a presence coming to them, she felt it. She whirled around and relaxed when she see two campers coming their way. At least it was not monsters, or ghosts, or—forget it. She’d rather not jinx it.
One of the guy was bulky and muscly, she would guess that he was either child of Ares or Hephausteus since they were infamous with their strength and tough body built. And the other had spiked hair as if he was shot by lightening, was it possible that he was child of Zeus? It certainly would explain the strong aura he gave out, all big-three children had it. They were approaching her and the guy, what’s with Archery today? Why did it become everyone’s destination to stop by? She held out her hand behind his just in case the boy fell back again when he tried to sit up, and thankfully he didn’t. She mentally prayed and thanked Apollo for his help.
There was tension, obviously, when the two males appeared to their sight. His body was stiffening and wouldn’t relax even after they were in distance which their faces could be recognized. Two reasons she could think of. One, he was always act this cautious. Or two, he knew them and didn’t like the fact that they were here.
She looked at the corner of her eyes and saw Avie narrowed his eyes. Oh, he certainly was glaring at them. Which proved her second guess to be true, she should be detective when she grew up.
May there be no fight, since she was not in mood to heal anyone.
The big guy asked Avie if he was okay, but with that tone of his it sounded a little bit offending. Right on cue, Avie glared the big guy and answered that guy. He just said that they were in the same cabin, right? Which meant he was child of Ares too... Perfect. No bloodshed, please.
The spiked said something to the big guy, probably inside joke since she didn’t understand what they were talking about. But she managed to catch the last part, Kyle was underestimating Avie, eh? That was rude and uncalled for. Even if she only knew him for awhile, she felt rather offended for him.
"Oh, call me Kyle. What can we call you guys?" said the spiky guy, which apparently named Kyle.
“Hey Kyle, I’m Carmel, call me Cara or whatever you want” she smiled and nodded at him.
She looked back to Avie when he said something to her. He was stammering a bit and thanking her. She found that really adorable. If he was blushing, maybe she couldn’t restrain herself from pinching his cheeks, and thank gods he wasn’t.
"...m-me to the infimary, th-that would be fine. Bu-but I don't think you would be-be able to support me..." She frowned and realized that he was right. She couldn’t possibly hold him upright when she couldn’t even stand steady. Moreover, he was bigger than her. It was rather impossible for her to carry him there and she wouldn’t be much of a help. She laughed and tapped her fist to his shoulder lightly, “Well, that was true,” her eyes darted to Kyle and the child of Ares. They definitely could help him. Too bad he didn't want them to help him. Judging from the tension between them, anyway.
“I would be grateful for your help” he smiled at her. She raised her eyebrow at this. He certainly looked better now. His face was not as pale as before and the smile definitely looked good at him. She thought for awhile and decided. “Well, no rush right? At least you’re okay now. We could wait until you regain your strength and me mine to go to the infirmary. How about that?” to take ambrosia or maybe she could heal him again. She nodded to herself, agreeing with the plan she just made.

Kyle looked at the boy an realized they heard and he offended him. "jeez kyle. Think before you talk," he said, realizing that. Saying that an ares kid couldn't take on someone..... well, he said tht to jay once. Jay nearly broke him in half. Without the axe. Kyle grimced at the memory before returning to the present.
Jay on the other hand, didn't care. He had been the counciler for the Ares cabin for a time, before the memory loss thing happened, but since getting it back, he wasn'sureif he was or wasn't. but he still looked after his siblings. And this one worried him. Not battle worry, but worried for him. Jay's looked at his frial form behind his sunglass, his emotions clouded as Kyle gave an embarrised shake his arm behind his hand, ruffling his hair. "How is he a son of the kid of the god?" Jay wondered if not for the twintith time. He acted more like a son of hermes, no offence to the god.
Jay looked back at his brother, well, half brother anyways, and said," if your fine, I think I will go play fetch with wipeout," Jay said, pulling a bite up sheild from his bag and walked away, but stopped as the hell hound ran up. he looked back at Avie, and his dark deep eyes looked at the three of them. "be careful Avie." With that, jay threw the sheild and the hell hound ran after it, and Jay pulled a spear, running after the houd. Both Looped over the ring in a speed that would suprise a cheeta. With a leap, both tried for the shield and tumbled into the woods, where a crash and hiss was heard then silence.
Kyle rolled his eyes as jay's exit, then turned to the other two, a wide smile on his face. "Sorry about that avie. I dind't meanto offende you. I know it offended you so don't deny it," Kyle said, smirking. "What i ment by it was i just went maybe i Minute in the ring, and I couldn't even touch that guy with lighting, and all i got for it was this," Kyle said, Lifting his bangs and showing a growing bruise under his hair line. With the nector in him though, It would fade by tomarrow though.
Kyle let his bangs fall and looked atthe girl, saying," I think I will stick with cara." he sort of liked the wound of it, but then he heard what avie called himself.
Kyle's face seemed to freeze, then his eyes stopped smiling and his mouth dropped to a frown. Well, a straight line. it was an expression kyle rarly used. It was a serious face. Kyle closed the distance between him and avie. kyle looked into his eyes. Kyle's eyes were hard, and for a moment, showed the power inside him. it was enough to scare anyone.
Kyle reached an hand up and tapped Avie on the head, and said," I think you hit your head harder then you thought. Because no respecting cjild of ares disses themselves. Dis someone else, ven if they wouldn't stand a chance, but never themselves. I got that lesson from the big guy, and I'm not even in your cabin. So show some backbone, and for gods sake, Relax a little. The world isn't ending!" kyle said, his body language changing in an instant. he gave the boy a smile and clasped his shoulder, saying," Don't insult yourself. I hate when people do that." He really honest to Zeus did.
Kyle wondered what it would be like, if he wasn't like that. He hated when people put themselves down, because that put him down. Kyle could see how emotions worked on everyone, and if someone was down, he felt down to. If that someone was hyped up and happy, So was he most of the time. He liked to make people happy, or mess with them. Ether or. But this was a helping time.
"Hey, You need this more then me," Kyle said, smirking and pulled out the nector bottle he had, and tossed it at avie. it was only a short toss of a foot so there was no way he couldn't catch it, unless he was a total clutz. "Don;t mind that it is half empty. Your brother caused the reason for that," Kyle said, smiling sheepishly. "Oh, and if you really need yo go, i can fly you guys over," he suggested.

Just watching his brother made Avie grimace to himself, closing his eyes and shaking his head. He knew that his siblings were a little too observant sometimes when it came to watching their own siblings, but when it came to observing this close? It almost disgusted the pacifist. He gave everyone else their privacy. One would think he would get something in return for that.
But then Jay said one thing before making his awfully showy goodbye. "Be careful Avie."
Be careful!? Be careful-? The raven ground his teeth painfully, feeling the throbbing return in his head as a migraine suddenly pounded on at full force. That was too much. Whether Avie was over-thinking it or not, he knew that the simple sentence had deeper intentions than anything else. He knew for a fact that the other son of the god of war meant to be careful in more ways than one. And, if not, Avie was getting himself worked up for nothing.
Just as he was about ready to scream out an insult, or curse him with not only the curses he learned here, but back in London as well, the blonde girl spoke in a calm and collected voice, instantly calming the green-eyed male down. ". “Well, no rush right? At least you’re okay now. We could wait until you regain your strength and me mine to go to the infirmary. How about that?” And her name was now Carmel, or Cara. Whichever preferred - though Avie did not fully believe in nicknames, because no one could shorten up his name to make a nickname, now could they?
And she was right. He was fine, now. And she still needed to gather up her strength anyways. For now, he could sit here and think about ways he could stay away from his cabin - he simply did not want to see any of his siblings, mostly the one he knew to believe him a little mental. If he had some random kid watching him every day or so, then he would believe himself crazy as well...
Avie sighed and closed his eyes, trying to rest. However, when he heard footsteps approaching him, he opened those eyes lazily and found himself face-to-face with a particular child of Zeus who looked like he was ready to do business, with that cold glare he gave. "I think you hit your head harder then you thought. Because no respecting child of Ares disses themselves. Dis someone else, even if they wouldn't stand a chance, but never themselves. I got that lesson from the big guy, and I'm not even in your cabin. So show some backbone, and for gods sake, Relax a little. The world isn't ending!"
The raven closed his eyes and squeezed them shut when he was pat on the head in the middle of that long speech. "Mn," he sounded, a little startled at the feeling that spread through him. It was how he would imagine a child of Zeus to feel; electrifying and full of energy. He may not have seemed like it now, but Avie could tell that this child of Zeus was one who would probably be able to bounce off walls with energy.
And suddenly, the child of Ares felt envious.
"Don't insult yourself. I hate when people do that." said the child of Zeus, who was suddenly smiling. That was the energy Avie had felt in a mere instant, and now he tensed at the hand that was on his shoulder. He didn't particularly like contact that much, especially when he was this awkward around both men and women, however he ignored what he felt, looking at Kyle and giving a small smile back. He now had a new mission, and currently that was to try and make more friends. Perhaps starting with someone less... exciting... then Kyle, though he seemed like he would be a good friend. However, if him and Avie were to ever be compatible... unlikely.
He turned to look at Cara, not realizing that there had been a small bottle of nector thrown at him until he looked at his outstretched right hand, seeing a bottle of nector in it.
When had he done that?
Slightly confused over how his reflexes and instincts worked so well when he was partially out of it, he glanced towards Kyle when he offered help. Well, that was nice. Much nicer than his own brother, who ran off to play with some mutt.
Dogs. Avie hated every single one, including his own brother... 's dog.
He offered the bottle to Cara, practically grinning smugly at her. "It's your's," he whispered softly, unable to think of anything else to say aside from that line right there. "...be-because you let me... have your w-water." And that had been the best sip of water he had ever had in his life. Perhaps because he was thirsty. Or maybe because he just didn't realize how thirsty he had been while grunting and mumbling back in his cabin.
He looked back towards Kyle and sighed heavily. "Y-you wouldn't need... to... particularly fl-fly us," he mustered up, biting his lip, trying to keep his composure. He was doing surprisingly good with his socializing skills right now. He wasn't a flushed, embarrassed idiot that he usually could be - at least when talking to two teens who were both rather attractive, and yet both not having an appeal on him.
...His mind ran too fast. First he had been thinking of how Kyle could fly both him and Cara, and now he was thinking about how attractive this girl and guy were. Well, they were both really nice to look at, because both were extremely attractive in two different ways...
"Fff," he blew out his breath, trying to calm himself down before he truly was the flustered seventeen year old he was thinking like. Heck, if he didn't chance his mind off the subject on how handsome or beautiful the other two were, he would feel like a young girl freaking over her favorite actor or singer or something. Only, he was thinking this for both a man and a woman...
"I-I believe-!!" he quickly started, feeling his cheeks heat up at the insecurity of his thoughts. What if one of them were great at reading other people's emotions or something? What if one of them could read minds? How disgusted would they be to catch him thinking about how someone of the same gender was attractive. "th-th-that it might be easier i-if y-you were to hel-help us one at a ti-time!"
He had to think of something to make him not so embarrassed. Like... dead puppies.
...Because that would take his mind off anything.
notess;; ahh, i failed to realize it was my turn to post. and also, i feel rather bad for making avie such an awkward teenager. oh well.

Her eyes darted to the big—and rude Ares guy. She made sure not to show it that she felt a tad but intimidated by him, since he was much bigger than Avie and her. She was sure she couldn’t take him out in hand-to-hand battle(she doubt she even survive the first minute), and with weapon it would still be really, really hard for her to beat him. Aside from the fact that he was really muscly, he was child of Ares, the god of war, she would make sure not to mess with him.
But he sure made it hard for her to resist the temptation. He annoyed her, every people which bullied people into fearing them always annoyed her. And he was close enough, even though it was directed to Avie. She forced herself to think about other thoughts to avoid any further conflict; her cat back at home, novels she planned to read, iPod which she left in her bunks, food—Ah, yes. Food. She forgot to eat lunch just now, and her stomach grumbled with the cue. Pancakes, Waffles, french fries....
There was a dark furry tail wagging in front of her face. What in the world? She gaped and saw a dog in front of her running around near the Ares guy. Only, it was much more creepy than regular dog. And she felt like she had seen it before. She wrinkled her face trying to figure out what that creature was.
“...that was not a dog or even wolf sis, it was a hell hound..”
Her eyes widened as she remembered her conversation with her brother right before she left to the camp. The creatures which attacked her, it was hellhound! And this little creature, she looked right into it, was also a hellhound. She felt some kind of rage for it, since one of their kind had hurt her brother. How her brother knew about it, she didn’t understand. But she knew that he was also as different as her with other ‘mortals’.
She wondered how this hellhound could end up with him of all people, since he was not a child of Hades. As rare as it was, she heard that the only people who could tame and had hellhound as a pet was child of Hades.
One thing led to another. He threw his shield and the hellhound, ‘wipeout’ as he called it, ran after it. They had this action thing that just screamed “show-off” as they exited to the woods where there was a resounded crash and hiss. Her lip upturned into a grin and a snort accidentally rip out from her. As much as she didn’t want anyone to be hurt, he had it coming.
Nasty bruise it was, she thought as he stared at Kyle’s bruised forehead. And he managed to get it with bare hand? That was wicked. She thanked gods that not everyone could do it, since infirmary would be full of people if that happened. Working overtime was not her thing after all.
She was glad to find out that Kyle was a decent guy and willing to help Avie. She could have some respect to him, especially the fact that he had this aura of power that a little bit overwhelming for her. Maybe being the son of Zeus had its perks. She watched him trying giving this friendly speech about self-esteem to Avie and had to contain her chuckle since it was amusing to watch.
She kept grinning at them and faltered a bit when Avie handed the nectar bottle to her. “It's your's,...be-because you let me... have your w-water."
That was really sweet of him, but she doubt she need the help of the nectar to gain back her energy. With the power of healing, regaining strength was easier to the children of Apollo and he needed the nectar more than her. She thought twice before giving it back to him since it would be really rude to give back what was given to you.
She decided to take a gulp of it. It tasted like burnt cookies she used to make with her brother, a little bit tangy and not particularly delicious. But she loved it, as sappy as it was. She felt power surged back to her vein stronger than she even felt before she came to Archery. She admitted that being powerful felt good.
She handed the remaining nectar to him and tapped him at his shoulder, beaming. “Here! You need it more than me. You should get better soon so we could hang out sometimes in more normal situation.” Where that came out? She didn’t even know.
She heard Kyle offered to fly them. Flying? She brightened, that would be awesome. He could fly them?? What an awesome ability he had! But as much as she would like the experience of flying, she didn’t want to waste his energy on her. “Nah, no need for me. I think I could manage!” She gave him a thumb up as further reassurrance that she was indeed well.

"It would be no pro-," Kyle stopped in mid sentence, his nose tickling as his he felt a sneeze coming."Crap," He thought, turning and jumped up, flying over the border of the archery and landed. No trees were in sight and that was good. Kyle took a breath in, and then Sneezed. Only difference between Kyle sneezing and a normal person, or even a normal Demigod. When anyone else sneezes, lightning doesn't escape you.
Lightning curled out of his back and into the sky, a big flash of it and then a small roll of thunder. It was bright enough and big enough to make the area light up. It illuminated all the targets, Both Avie and Cara, Jay and wipeout in the woods fighting a giant hissing scorpion thing and every piece of grass near him. A small fire started around his feet and He cursed, stomping it out. Embarrassing.
Kyle flew back up and landed right back where he was, a little red in the face and said," Sorry about that. Can't really control my lightning when i sneeze, and i think i am coming down with something." Kyle smirked, a little goofy looking, the total opposite of what his aura was saying.
"Sure about the flying thing? Cuse, oh hell with it. I want to share the sky," kyle said, grabbing both of their hands and Taking off. He used his power of the air to lift them and His shoes made them light weight since he was holding them. Course, when he let go of them later, he would be feeling it. To them though, it would feel like weightlessness had settled over them and his hand was pulling them along. Oh well.
Kyle felt the air touching his face as they all rose up and into the sky. He wasn't sure if they were saying anything or not, since the wind was in his ears, but there was a view that he liked at this time of day, and he knew the perfect spot for it.. Kyle flew up at cloud level, and settled right next to one.
"Look down there," kyle said, pointing with a foot at the camp. the sunlight right now stretched over the camp, making the shadows dance. They could see campers moving about, and the wind ripping over the strawberry fields and the waves hitting the shores. It was a very peaceful scene, even if you could see Jay looking all bloody in the trees from the monster he killed.
Anyways, Kyle looked down at his passengers, asking," do you still need to go to the infenery?" he asked, checking.
Notes;; i was low on muse, so i flew. i wanted to do that anyways.

They were too nice for demigods. Perhaps Avie really did hit his head too hard, and was actually in a comatose state.
The child of Ares calmed down rather quickly when Cara offered the bottle of nector back. Well, he sort of didn't want it. He preferred the infirmary over things that could heal you at an unimaginably quick speed. He preferred the real healing - not this. However, he took the bottle in his hand anyways, staring at it questionably. Who truly carried around bottles of this stuff?
Kyle did.
"It would be no pro-," started the son of Zeus, however, with that particular look on his face, he looked about ready to sneeze. The raven chuckled lightly, trying not to laugh too hard, now. Kyle looked rather funny when he was about to sneeze. Almost as if...
Avie did not finish his thought, watching in pure awe as suddenly said child of Zeus was gone and up in the air, flying away as if something horrible would happen - or as if something horrible was happening. He raised an eyebrow to himself, setting the bottle in his hand down on the ground next to him, shivering slightly. The ground was cold, slightly, and he had been sitting on it for a little while now.
Lightning suddenly crackled, sparking in the air and adding a feel of almost static electricity. He blinked quickly, watching the ground-to-sky lightning, and then completely closing his eyes and shuddering when thunder boomed over their heads. Even if it was not that loud, Cara and Avie had literally been right next to him before he flew off. And, seeing as the source of thunder probably came from Kyle himself, it was going to be loud.
It was both loud and bright enough to manipulate the real thunder and lightning in the sky, coming from Zeus himself. Luckily, Avie's eyes were closed shut. His head still hurt, slightly, and he refused to take someone's nector, despite it being another demigod's.
When the voice of another male joined them, the child of Ares opened his eyes again and looked at Kyle, who's hair sort of looked like it had been attacked by a electricity shortage. "Sorry about that. Can't really control my lightning when I sneeze, and i think i am coming down with something." said Kyle, and Avie merely chuckled again. Even if he looked as though he were cracking a joke, or as if he were trying to make everyone laugh at him, he was stating the truth.
What did Cara say that made Kyle think that Avie wanted to fly? Emerald green orbs widened to the size of plates and stayed that way as his hand was grabbed, as the feel of weightlessness seized him, and as horror flooded through the rather petite child of Ares.
He wasn't of heights, no, he just had a really hard time trusting Kyle. What if the child of Zeus let go of him, just for the fun of it? Surely he would be caught, at least, Kyle would be caught for murder, but what if he escaped by his flying? Or what if, perhaps, he dropped Avie by mistake?
Though this defied logic, just as his mind sometimes did. A lot of this defied 'logic', which wasn't even real when you came to Camp Half Blood. Flying kids, control over water, unbelievable strength and healing powers... these were all simple things that someone kids could control; and currently, Kyle was defying some of the biggest laws of whatever logic there was left.
For example, flying with this weightless feeling. Did the child of Zeus feel weightless, though? That was a question Avie would ask later, if he remembered to.
The black headed teen gripped onto Kyle's hand as if it were his lifeline, never meaning to cause pain if he did so, merely scared out of his wits. This truly was a beautiful site - the whole camp illuminated by the sun, which was still highly set in the sky -, and it took his breath away. Either that, or the fact that he was terrified. One of those did it. Both of them were, needless to say, easy to lose one's breath over. Even if Kyle most likely would not drop him, Avie always doubted him. They had just met, after all. What of Jay said a bunch of things about his half-brother, mentioning the part where he thought Avie was, well, insane.
And he was insane for trying to think of ways this was possible. Flying was supposed to be impossible to humans.
Ah, and yet, humans were not what they were.
"Bl-bloody hell," breathed Avie to himself, unable to shut his eyes like he wanted to.

Since Cara couldn’t do anything much right now, she opted to idly doodling the ground and yet still paying the others her attention. She just needed to move her hands, it was so hard for her to stay still even when she was too tired to move. Get that?
Somehow, she saw Kyle crunching up his face and his nose twitching. It was not like he was going to sneeze right? She was wrong.
It almost felt that all the winds got sucked into him and for a scary moment, she thought she sees sparks flying from him.The winds brought him floating over the fence of the archery and when he finally let out the sneeze, the wind rushed back to them and she felt like flying herself. His feet touched the ground and as if it was not enough, a lightning blasted to his feet. Her mouth was agaped and her hand absentmindedly rubbed her messy hair and realized that her hairband had been ripped, leaving her hair flowing messily to her shoulder.
“What in the world...?” She mumbled under her breath and realized that there was some ashes on her. Kyle was stomping out the fire caused from the lightning. So, that was how big the ‘big three’ children power? No wonder they were feared as too powerful. She wondered what would happen to any person in their bad side.
" Sorry about that. Can't really control my lightning when i sneeze, and i think i am coming down with something." She snapped from her awed daze and laughed along with them and had the biggest grin she probably ever have in Camp Half blood.
She felt a grip on her wrist and she suddenly was up in the air. She thought she was imagining things. She looked up and saw Kyle and Avie beside her. So, he could fly too, huh? That was so awesome, though it was a tad bit scary. She saw the ground of the archery kept going further from her feet and her bow and arrows disappeared from her sight. Well, she could get it back anytime. And flying could be once in a lifetime chance!
She remembered something from her childhood. A story, she thought. What was it? She was pretty sure it was one of her favourite tale. Ah, Peterpan! There was a scene she couldn’t ever forget. When Peterpan swept off Wendy and her brothers from their home and brought them to Neverland. Now that she looked at the situation, Kyle could be the peterpan. Since, you know, he could fly. The differences was he was flying them to infirmary and he could actually grow up.
She felt the breeze tickling her face and prayed to Lord Zeus and her dad not to let her fall. It would be sad if she died because of it. But, the look on his face assured her that Kyle knew what he was doing.
"Look down there," She looked down and saw the most amazing view that took her breathe away. “That’s awesome!” she unconsciously said. The camp looked different up there and she could saw everything happening in the camp. She saw some of her friends running after each other, the burnout campfire in Amphitheathre, the nice calming wave of the sea, and realized how amazing her cabin looked. At normal view, her cabin still looked wonderful, of course. But the way the sunlight touched the roof of her cabin was different when she saw it up there. It was as if her cabin radiated its own ray. She grinned and thanked Apollo, her dad. She felt a pang of envy when she thought about how Kyle could see all of it every time he wanted.
" Do you still need to go to the infirmary?" he asked them both. She kept her hair away from her face with her free hand and shook her head. “Nah, ask Avie. I’m fine with the super-healing power. You okay Avie?” She chuckled with her own strange way of joke and was reminded with their purpose of flying. They were supposed to go to infirmary. She was concerned that Avie would feel worse up here and was glad when she saw him not being worse, physically. He turned slight green shade and looked confused. Was he better, she wasn’t so sure.

"I think that avie still does," Kyle said, descending now towards the infirmary. he knew that he would need it once he let go. One person, that he could do. Two people, one each arm, well, he was going to be felling that one. But totally worth it. He caste another look at Avie, and knew that the air wasn't the boy's element. Everyone reacted differently to flight. Avie apparently wasn't one that took it well.
As they descended, Kyle saw a low hanging cloud and just couldn't help himself. He turned, and lowered himself to their place as their feet touched the cloud. "Ever wonder what it was like to walk on a cloud?" Yeah, totally over doing it, but again, you just can't help yourself sometimes. Kyle chuckled and dropped down through it, taking both of them with him. It was chilly and damp, but it was a small one and it was quickly over, going through it. "beats flying through a thunder cloud. Not to mention loud, you can get lost in those," Kyle said, smirking as they all descended.
Kyle did a circle around the infirmary as he landed, showing off a little as he did with a chuckle, knowing he was being a big head but loved it. It was funner that way then just a simple landing. Kyle set both of them down right in front of the place, and let his feet touch the ground. it hurt.
It was quick ad painful. The long strain on his arms that he didn't feel caught up as his feet touched the ground, and he fall flat on his face."Ouch. OK, that one hurt." Kyle said, using his aching arms to hold up a hand with one finger up."It OK, I got this." It wasn't the first time in this situation. Kyle rubbed his hands together and a spark flew, and he touched the ground and his chest. He rose from the ground as if on a magic carpet and straightened, touching the ground again. He Put a ton of Negative charge into the ground as he touched it and into himself as well. Being the same charge, he went away from it, and rose. When he let go of the gorund, the charge left it, letting him fall.
Kyle grimaced and rolled his shoulders, working the sourness out."Don't ask," he said, letting his arms hang at his sides. Course, kyle could feel there emotions. What were they, but electric pulses in the head? He could read those pulses and tell what a person was thinking. If he put his head to someone's, he could read there thoughts to, but nothing but emotions if not head to head.(I even looked that up, so no bashing it) "Avie, looking a little green around the gills there. Get some nector, and do me a favor, grab me a bottle to." Kyle smirked at that. He could get his own.... at the cost of a lot of pain.
