It was still amazing - all of it. It was like realizing for the first time again the he was a demigod. If only he could be a child of Zeus. Then maybe he would be outgoing like Kyle, or like Kaiden. Then he might be able to actually put some use to himself aside from being a bookworm who over thought things and easily got himself hurt.
"Huh?" he thought aloud, glancing over at Cara as they flew. Had she asked him something? He odd, he hadn't caught it. And he was curious, who had she said...?
By then Kyle spoke. "I think that Avie still does," Still does what, though? Perhaps some ambrosia? Maybe just landing in general? It was true how beautiful the camp was from this view that Avie probably would never see again, however, he was honestly frightened. His palms were getting sweaty out of anxiety, and his stomach felt as though it had butterflies in it. However, wasn't that supposed to be when around a crush or something? Perhaps just when one was nervous, because he most definitely was...
And there went his mind again, and he almost missed the cloud they passed through.
Yes, literally through a cloud.
It was enough that they were flying. Yes, that was amazing. But, just as his own half-brother had, Kyle went and showed off his abilities as if he were all that, and it made the child of Ares feel slightly annoyed. Of course, he would forever remain grateful that he was being flown to the infirmary so graciously, though, showing off was just something this seventeen year old could hardly put up with. He would stay silent, though, suppressing his shudder as they went through the dampness of the cloud, before coming out perfectly fine again. Okay, it was pretty cool..
"Pfft," sounded the raven, scrunching up his nose. How much could one show off within a five minute period? It was cute, slightly, that someone had the nerve to show off their abilities. Hey, at least they had some.
It seemed the child of Zeus was sort of pained when he let down both Cara and Avie before landing himself - at least, landing face first himself. The child of the god of war stared down at him, mouth slightly agape, tilting his head slightly to show the confusion that clouded his thoughts. Did it hurt to fly? If it did, why even show off when it would hurt him? Avie frowned, eyebrows furrowing together. He felt sort of bad.
Should he have felt bad, though?
"I-I won't ask," he muttered dryly, green orbs never leaving from the other male. He was more confused than anything else, so he felt no need to ask. Just the need to stand there and try and make sense of the electric show that Kyle had just put up.
"Avie, looking a little green around the gills there. Get some nector, and do me a favor, grab me a bottle too." said Kyle, and the raven allowed a pout to make its way onto his face. What was he, a maid? Yet, Kyle had just went through all this trouble of getting them there, hurting himself...
"O-of course," said the British male politely, turning and walking into the front doors of the infirmary. He wouldn't be so selfish and do things only for himself - friends did not do that, and though he wouldn't consider himself a friend towards the happy-go-lucky Kyle, he would try and be nice like one. That would... work, at least, in what he thought.
notess;; because we live to bash you and your writing, Kyle.

Cara’s gaze grew unfocused as she was faced with the sight of the sun. She hurriedly covered her eyes with her free palm as she remembered that sun ray could blind human’s eyes. Geez, what she wouldn’t give for a pair of sunglasses, her hair long ago kept flying breezily to her face, or rather, slapping her face back and forth. It was getting really annoying and for once, she considered cutting her shoulder-length blonde locks. And still, drawn like moth to flame or magnet or girls to hotties—you know it, her pupil kept darting to the limited sun ray filtered from her fingers.
She imagined her dad in sun chariot, riding it every day from six a.m. to six p.m. That’s twelve hours people, and he did that everyday non-stop. If he stopped, the world would be unleashed in darkness and lives would be a doom. Someone inside her wondered why Apollo never got bored of riding his sun chariot for milleneas with a schedule whereas he got ‘bored’ and left her loving awesome mum only after few months. He never even came to see her. She felt a jab in her chest and ‘little’ Cara wallowed herself in self-pity, unconsciously sticking out her bottom lip.
The grip on her wrist tightened and she almost winced from it. She looked to the boy next to her. He was practically holding her lifeline right now and almost gulped when she saw the mischievious glint on his eyes. She looked down and only realized by then that their foot was hanging on a small cloud, almost like they were actually standing on it. She had no time admiring it when Kyle drove them through the cloud, fast. She felt her stomach fleeing far far away, maybe to dining pavillion, and her heart hammering in her throat. . A few string of Greek curses got out from her lips and she bit down a yelp. Adrenaline rushed to her vein pumping her heart even harder. There was a reason she loved roller coaser, afterall and it definitely cleared her head from her previous rather deppresing thought.
After a couple of stunts Kyle doing with Cara actively rolling her eyes and few wry comment which she doubt he even heard at the display, she finally landed at the safe ground of the infirmary. As much as she loved flying, she couldn’t help but worry that she couldn’t get back to the ground alive. Her back had crashed to the ground and it hurt like Hades. She let out an ungirly groan and tried to sit up. Though as unfortunate as she was, she got it much better than Kyle who had kissed the ground, roughly, literally. Ugh. She rubbed her face instantly as she watched the rather pained expression in Kyle’s face. That must hurt.
She raised a curious eyebrow at Kyle’s ‘instruction’ to Avie. That was rather hilarious and amusing to watch them. Kyle was being his easy-going happy-go-lucky self which unintentionally got Avie quite annoyed by the looks of it. He couldn’t cover his temper in check and she could read it all over his face by the quirk of his eyebrow and the pools of his eyes. She cackled inwardly and noticed that it was one of Ares trait, hence, he was really his son.
She stood up and strolled her way to infirmary lagging a few steps behind Avie. Her mood brightened and she hummed random off tune song under her breathe and walked to a locker inside the infirmary. The locker was located near the door and far from the patient bed and medicine cabinet. She parted way with Avie as he searched for nectar. She wiggled her eyebrows to herself and lit up when she opened the locker slowly. Very slowly with secretive edge.
Her precious treasure.
Her very own secret medicine.
Chocolate.
“Chocolate make its all better” she whispered to herself. It was personally her most favourite quote. And it came from the master, which was her brother. She took three bars of chocolate from her secret sweets stash. Thank gods Apollo cabin had free reign of infirmary as long as thay healed people and didn’t mess with it. This was one of her secret medicine which could heal every sickness. Even heartbreak! Shock people, shock! The wonder!
She practically skipped her way out infirmary back to the lay-down for of Kyle with three chocolate bars in hand. As she neared him, she threw one of the chocolate bar to his stomach spot on and whooped to herself. She didn’t even consider that it could hurt him since she didn't give that much strength in her throw.
“There, a chocolate. Even though it was not food of gods I guarantee it was still amazing. And it heals...many disease.” Hunger. Brokenheart. Depression. Yup. Definitely healing. “Try it!”
She ripped open her own bar of chocolate and munched on it happily. She kept looking to the door of infirmary for Avie since she also had one for him. He had to come here fast before it was too late. She thought salivating at the sight of lonely chocolate bar even with her own chocolate bar in her mouth.
