"where are we? what the hell is going on?"
The sun was setting, sending the sky into a cat vomit pink color, with streaks of purple and red reaching their arms across it, wanting their share of the sunset. It had been a nearly cloudless day, but as the night air came rolling along, cooler than the day's, small, wispy clouds began to build up on the skyline. A dark haired girl with electric blue eyes glanced out her window, noticing the clouds, and couldn't help but hope for a rainstorm that night. But she knew it wouldn't come unless someone seriously pissed off a god or goddess of some sort. No one in their right mind would want to do that either, so Kaiden Maylark's wishes of a storm disappeared with the sun, and she turned away from the window. For a breif moment, she imagined making a god mad, feeling it might be worth it for a few hours of a storm. Then, she could play with Kyle in the lightning and rain, sending bolts at eachother from across the camp. But the daughter of Zeus knew better...
Kaiden laughed out loud. Pretending that she "knew better" amused her.
It would be a lie to say that she wasn't seriously considering making one of the Olympian Gods angry. Did she really miss storms that much? Yes. And the idea beagn to stroke kaiden's thoughts with a smooth and alluring finger until, finally, she was convinced. She would do something to anger the gods, get a storm, then fix it before they smote her. The only question was, which god? It couldn't be her own father, that would be pointless. She was sacrificing a decent portion of her large meal every night to stay on his good side, and kaiden wasn't willing to give up her brownie points so easily. She wouldn't go near Hermes or Apollo, because she liked both cabins and even if she did something, they would probably laugh it off. Artemis was her sister, so she saw no point in that either. Ares was stupid, but he wouldn't make a storm, he would come after her, and she wasn't in the mood to deal with a tempermental god. She chuckled off the thought of Dionysus, that was just idiodic. Aphrodite, if she was mad, would probably just send a stalker after her, and if she wasn't already upset with Kaiden for everything she had done to her and her children, nothing Kaiden did would upset her. Frustrated, Kaiden flung herself on her bed, rubbing her eyes. There were no Gods to anger!
there's always Hera... she thought and laughed to herself. There was no point in Hera because she was her step-mother and she hated Kaiden for living already...
Kaiden sat up and opened her eyes. Those were perfect reasons to get at the Goddess. She hated her already, maybe she would throw a fit if she did something to irritate her enough. Now what would do that? Kaiden thought for a moment, trying to remember everything she could about the goddess. She liked peacocks, maybe she could kill one? But Kaiden couldn't do that, she loved birds too much. Maybe she could get married....because she was the goddess of Marriage? That was just stupid. But suddenly, an idea struck the demi-goddess. The conselours and children of Athena were always talking about how no one should stay in Hera's cabin or touch hera's cabin, because it was only up out of respect for her and anything done with it had to be approved by Hera or she'd be... supremely pissed! Kaiden grinned. It was perfect. And, it was by far on of her favorite things to do.
Vandalize and Desecrate Hera's cabin.
Quickly, Kaiden glanced out her window at the darkening sky and began to throw her spray paints into her backpack. She rushed to the arts and crafts cabin and stole some glue and glitter and feathers and paints, shoved them in her bag and then ran back to her cabin. She pulled on her black prank outfit, just for the fun of it, and flipped up her hoddies hood. Then. she crept out of her cabin and walked next door, pulling out a bright yellow spray can. She shook it and held it out, pressing on the button and waiting for a nice hiss...
She didn't hear if someone walked up behind her.

Good grief.
Cara wiped her sweat with her orange towel which was hanging on her shoulder. Finally, she was done with her archer training. She was good with archery, she admitted, like her other siblings. But she actually loved swords training more since it gave her more action. She had to stay near the opponent and learned defense whereas most archer stayed far and shot the target.
Yet, here she was, still focusing on her archer training more than swordsmanship.
Oh, gods.
After washing her face in restroom of the archery, her face was the only clean body parts of her. Her orange Camp Half Blood T-shirt was decorated with mud along with her shorts. She tied her blonde hair in a high ponytail and brushed her bangs with her fingers in effort to lessen the messy look she was supporting. Her blonde locks was disarray and in the worst state of mess after being ruffled by her siblings and being dumped mud. How they got mud in archery, she didn’t know. Instead of focusing on archery for four hours, thay ended up playing mud fight for two hours. She scoffed ‘angrily’ at the memory and somehow her lips betrayed her as it quirked itself upward in a smile. No, she was not happy with it! She felt like a child! Lips, you traitor!
Maybe it was not so bad staying at this camp, she admitted to herself. Actually it was awesome..... not that she would admit it....yet.
Especially if.... drumroll please...
She got her chocolate bar out of her cloth bag. If there is a chocolate! Now, this just completes her live. She could be happy like this. She bobbed her head as she listened to her iPod. Instead of munching her piece of greatness like she always does, she opted to break it to a smaller piece and munched it. She strolled lazily to the cabin. She needed a shower before she headed to dining pavilion and she was determined to be the first one reached her cabin to have it. She grinned wickedly to the path behind her, seeing nothing, noone. They would be a little bit occupied with a ‘little’ stunt she just pulled off at the archery. No rush.
Normally, she wouldn’t have the courage to do it. But after consuming three bars of chocolate before archery, she had no hesitation to do it. She liked the feeling of being high, flying, floating, and giddy. It was like someone throwing party inside her. This addictive piece of awesomeness also made her head clearer and sharper and more....wickedly. She wouldn’t need alcohol or drugs in her life since she had chocolate. She just hoped she didn’t need to worry about dying because of overdosing (is that even possible?) it or diabetic. It would complete her live more.
The sun was setting. She loved watching the glimmer colour of the sky. Her personal favourite was when the sky was soaked with reddish colour with a tint of orange and purple. Like today. It was as if Apollo was leaving his mark in the world just for the sake of a 'showy' goodbye for the day. She could imagine her dad being like that. The pink clouds were rolling and rushing after each other decorating the sky along with the sun. Oh, this was definitely her day. She halted her tracks just to gaze wistfully at the sky.
As the sky was getting darker, she felt a nagging feeling that she shouldn’t get back to her cabin yet. She narrowed her eyes and realized she had stopped near the second cabin, Hera’s cabin. She shuddered inwardly and took a reluctant step to it. A blink of her eyes, she saw something black was perched at the Hera’s cabin, or rather someone. Since when someone was there....? She rubbed her eyes to convince herself it was not an illusion and decided to find out since ‘Curiousity kills the cat’ was the phrase she most often broke.
She strolled quietly to behind the person. He or she was wearing all black and a hoodie. It obviously screamed suspicious, but the sugar-high Cara didn’t care. Instead of calling Chiron or Hera’s cabin kids, she took off her headphone and stalked quietly. She felt like a spy, heck yeah, just like Mission Impossible. She posed a gun with her right hand at the person while her left hand crossed at her chest.
“BANG!” She said with a wicked grin. Since it was already dark and there was deafening silence even before she came, she was sure she didn’t need to shout to surprise her or him. Unfortunately for Cara, after that amazingly awesome pose, her right feet somehow tripped her left feet and she fell on her bum after knocking her face to her headphone. Just her luck.
“Aww... Gods. Epic fail” She commented to herself. Heat rushing to cheeks and she was somehow embarrassed to look at the person. Oh, damn. She failed at being a spy. If this was a real mission, she probably would have died the first ten—or maybe even thirty minutes. She cursed herself for being a clumsy.

"BANG!" Kaiden jumped even though the person speaking had used a normal tone of voice. Dread began to fill her nerves. She whipped her head around and saw a girl, about her age and blonde, standing behind her, point her finger-gun at the daughter of Zeus. She looked as though she had been enjoying herself, well until she tripped and fell on the ground. The girl began to blush a little as she mumbled something to herself. Kaiden let a grin slide onto her face. She had no reason to fear this girl. The demi-god let her eyes overlook the girl, sizing her up. Blonde hair, up in a pony tail, and a surprisingly clean face compared to the mud clinging to her clothes and hair, with bright blue eyes. For some reason, she came off as a very sunny person to Kaiden, reminding her of her friend, Sorcha. And if this girl was anything like Sorcha, she was no harm. In fact, she could be helpful with the making of a storm. Kaiden pulled out another spray-can and walked over to the girl. She held out her right hand to help her up from the ground.
"Need some help there?" she asked with a smile. "I know gravity's a real pain in the butt sometimes."
She offered the other can to the girl, noting that the paint color was pink, then turned to her own can. Kaiden made a long, sweeping movement with her arm, spreading a long line of yellow paint across the door of Hera's cabin. She moved the can around in waving movements, a trail of electric yellow always following them. After a few moments, she stepped back to admire her word. It was large and bubbly, and probably nonunderstandable to anyone but herself. Kaiden smirked at it in approval then tossed the can into her backpack, grabbing a bright red one. She set to work once more on the cabin. Moments passed and Kaiden paused. She glanced up at the sky, noting the addition of clouds to the darkening skyline and laughed. The daughter of Zeus tapped the girl on the shoulder and pointed to the strange occurance, leaning against the wall of the cabin.
"You see that? she laughed. "That's what I'm aiming for." Kaiden paused and looked at the girl. "I'm sorry, I never introduced myself- I'm Kaiden."
She held her hand out to the girl once more, but in a greeting gesture this time. Kaiden began to feel the soreness in her arm and her hand cramping up from holding the nozzle down for so long, but she tried to ignore it. The minor pain and soreness would all be worth it when the sky was looking menacing and lightning was dancing through the the clouds. She sighed, looking at the only partly cloudy evening sky. It would take a lot more work than attack the outside to get Hera riled up. They would have to go inside to get her really pissed off. So, Kaiden stood up and yanked open the door, holding it open and looking back at her quickly made ally.
"You coming in?" she poked her head out from the side.

Her eyelids closed and she could have sworn she saw satyrs was flying around her head. They were chasing after each other shouting for enchiladas and tin cans as battle cries. That was mildly disturbing, she smirked inwardly. She would have snickered if not for the fog(from the embarrassment, concussion; name it) clouding her mind right now. She opened her eyes and found everything was blurry. After seconds of adjusting, she finally could recognize that the person who was standing in front of her right now was a girl.
"Need some help there? I know gravity's a real pain in the butt sometimes." The girl slightly crouched as she asked her. She identified the item on her hands as a can—probably spray paint can? She could guess what she was doing here with all the hood and suspicious move—probably vandalising. The girl extended a hand to her and after spending less than a second considering—c’mon, she didn’t look that dangerous—she decided to take it.
“You know it.” Carmel grinned sheepishly at the girl, deciding not to care about her previous failed mission. The girl probably had thought she was nuts anyway. Nothing she could do anymore, since first impression only happened once. She flipped her headphone to the air trying to show off catching it, and shock shock, she failed yet again. It landed on the ground with a soft thump. She winced and hoped her beloved headphone didn’t suffer too much damage after butting with the ground and her head, which was really bad since many people had said that she had a head like a brick. She took the paint spray can from the girl and stuffed her fallen headphone back to her cloth bag.
The girl was already on roll, the girl shook her own spray paint and began to sweep the yellow paint across the door. She felt shiver rocked her body as she saw lightning from corner of her eyes and jumped slightly when the thundering thunder followed soon enough, which was really really weird since Chiron had said that camp hadn’t had any bad weather since forever, right? She gaped at the hooded girl since she seemed entirely unfazed with the lightning. The girl kept sweeping cursive art at the door with full concenteration as if she was working on her masterpiece. After watching the girl for a few more seconds, she was in a daze, her ADHD brain decided to command her mind to travel everywhere. Like that dark sky, that huge pine tree, oh! Don’t forget that little piece of flower, and that—
"You see that? That's what I'm aiming for." The girl said and Carmel just realized that she had finished her ‘art’. She snapped her gaze to the direction and see dark fluffy cloud which looked really heavy. Lightning striked now and then. Carmel would be lying if she said that she was unfazed with this revelation since she was far from that. She gaped openly at the sight of the doomish sky and looked back to see the wicked grin taking place on the girl’s face. Oh gods, what had she gotten herself into? This girl was an absolute nutters. She had no self-preservation! She practically invited one of the god—queen of the gods herself, by the way—to strike her with lightning. Oh noo, this bound to be bad. No one could survive from being smittten by lightning and Carmel prayed Hera had mercy to leave this girl alone. Unless....
"I'm sorry, I never introduced myself- I'm Kaiden." The girl said at last, extending her hand to Carmel. Cara smirked, oh this definitely covered it.
“Kaiden? Wait.... Are you Kyle’s sister?” She asked Kaiden just to be sure and shook her own paint can as preparation. “And I’m Carmel, you could also call me Cara!” She introduced herself back and handed her hand back to Kaiden. They shook hands slightly and Cara could feel that this could be the beginning of their friendship and maybe partnership(in pranks).
Kaiden opened the door to the cabin and ushered Cara to come. "You coming in?"
“As long as you help me from getting smitten, I’m in!” Cara answered and drew a small smiley on the window with her hot pink paint spray before coming with Kaiden to the inside of the cabin.
notes;; I'm really really sorry that I haven't posted for a loong time-_- Forgive me pwease? :3
