[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 400px;] Avie Benjamin Summons avie . seventeen . male . asexual . demigod child of ares, god of war appearance: Avie Summons most definitely is a man with a shared appearance. A black head full of hair and green eyes. He would easily be able to slip in with the rest of the crowd, and not be seen as a demigod or something. But, the fact that he is a demigod, that if he leaves the camp grounds, monsters will most likely attack him... he is not a man with a shared appearance. So far, he has not seen anyone else with black hair and green eyes... Avie is not rail-thin. Though, he is not built, either. For a child of Ares, he has a pretty good amount of strength even without big muscles. Of course, he wouldn't look like he was strong. But... how about we focus on more of the main details? He literally has black hair. Not dark brown, not dark-dark brown, but black hair. He has thick black hair, that is somehow messy and yet tamed at the same time. He has bangs which cover his forehead, though he does not have that look that this one celebrity has... what was his name again... didn't it begin with a 'J'? Emerald green eyes are probably his most promising feature. He does not have a set of eyes that colored contacts could mock. His eyes are always bright and shining, and full of life, even if his face looks as though he is angered deeply by something. They are almond-shaped and always focused on something. Those eyes are on a just-barely-tanned face, a face with a smile that sometimes shows up when one gets him to either laugh or smirk from pathetic-ness of something or other. He is short - five foot nine inches - and one hundred and fifty pounds. Though, despite being shorter than average males his age ( his mother was very short, and his father was tall, so with his luck he happened to be this height ), he could still reach things that are a little high-goaled for one like himself. He is taller by the legs rather than the torso, but only by so much. His arms are long as well... He always, despite what kind of weather it is, is wearing a camp half blood shirt underneath a maroon hoodie with a faux-fur trimmed hood. And with that, he will wear white jeans, or black jeans. Either or, depending on the weather, and depending on the mood he is in. face claim: luke pasqualino personality: Avie is not average. I can say that right now. Though, a lot of people are not average. He is merely... more 'not average' than other people are. Well, for one thing, compare him to his siblings. He is a son of war, now, and he absolutely hates it. He is a complete pacifist, against violence, against weapons, against a lot of things that violence revolves around. Especially war. Though, even if he does not inherit the love of bloodshed from his father, he can get quite a temper, yet he rarely ever allows himself to get that angry. If someone is trying to make him mad, or he is winning an argument and the other person does not believe that he is winning and just keeps on arguing, he will walk away without one more word of that topic, and he will not talk to that person for quite a long time after that. Avie does enjoy reading, and wishes that he was a child of Athena rather than of Ares. However, he is always grateful for the parent he has now, because he has a vast and uncommon knowledge of warfare... but perhaps that is because of his fascination of history. He questions humanity quite often, wondering about certain religions and how they came up with the whole concept of their religion and so forth, though does not discuss his beliefs with anyone, therefore getting him nowhere when he questions this. He is rather nice. He will be the one to give you directions if you are in need of them, and if you are new to camp, he will be the one to give you a tour gladly. He does have quite a sarcastic sense of humor, and will say something meanly without even really meaning it. He only uses sarcasm because he doesn't have a very good sense of humor at all. likes: -Astronomy -History -Rock Music -Concerts -Books dislikes: -Any kind of violence -Pop Music -Questionaires -Nature ( and nature hates him right back ) -Confusion ( on his behalf ) -Not being on top of things strengths: -Naturally, he is strong -Strategic thinking -Being simply 'one in the crowd' weaknesses: -Little children ( he always feels the need to crush their heads in ) -Girls and guys ( this will be in the history ) -It takes him a little bit to think up a plan fears: -Having his own children -A zombie 'apocalypse' -Giants fatal flaw: He will not fight, even if his life is on the line. He is a very strong pacifist, despite his father, and it will take a lot of patience to even get close to convincing him as to why he might need to fight. weapons: a giant book. it does not have any purpose aside from hitting people over the head and knocking them out with it. magical items: a magical mp3 player. it magically plays music for him. hometown: London, England. parent: Olivia Summons sibling(s): n/a other: He moved in with a best friend quite a long time ago, though they do not share any contact whatsoever. pet(s): deeply despises any animal ( only because he is allergic to fur ). history: Some people do not exactly get along with others that well. Whether it be personality-wise, or something of the complete opposite. For Olivia, it was her personality. She was - is, I mean - a very stubborn lady. She is crude, insensitive, and clearly does not care about the misfortune of others. In fact, she laughs at the misfortune of others. And, it seems that not a lot of people - mean in particular - like that. She was beautiful, with sparkling green eyes and thick, black hair that was always pulled back into a ponytail. Despite being short for a woman her age, she was thin, and only wore the best of clothes. She wanted to have a singing career, but couldn't, because no one would sign her. As a job - and not a very professional one at that - she sings at the local bar. It's not exactly the best job, nor does it pay a lot, but it pays enough for her to be able to get her nails done every other week, and to pay for rent on her apartment. It's a wonder she does not live with her parents; perhaps because she was disowned by them for being such a brat. Ares happened to stumble into this bar one night - what are the odds? Though, do not ask that: he felt the need to come here, is all -, in desperate need of a drink. Olivia, always at this bar singing, saw this man while singing, and could not help but be attracted to him. Perhaps it was because he looked so strong, and mysterious with the sunglasses that hid his eyes from her place on stage as she sang. Must I go into details of what happened next? She approached him after the night was done, and Ares, drunker than drunk itself ( though, can gods get drunk? Probably if they consume enough alcohol ), instantly went to her place for the night... just to stay over, of course! Though, that is a lie, and histories do not lie, do they? He left the next morning before poor Olivia even woke up. Little did he know that he did probably one of the most feared things Olivia could possibly imagine. Getting her pregnant. Olivia did not - and I mean did not want a child. In fact, she considered abortion. But, somehow, her parents figured out she was pregnant. They even offered to take the child from her, once she gave birth to it! They just did not want her, their only daughter, to give up their grandchild, even if it meant another mouth to feed. And, Olivia, out of pure spite, kept the child to herself and only herself, and refused to let her parents even see the child. Avie did not live a life that people should pity over. He did not live a sad childhood, especially a childhood that will make someone cry over. It was his decision to make it horrible. It was his decision to stay with his mother rather than to run away, like he had seen on television one time. He actually loved his mother, despite the curses that were thrown at him, despite the insults he would receive, and despite the countless times he had been called a mistake. When he first entered school, he found that he could not make friends with either males or females. He had a hard time talking to the teacher, even, who was a female. He did not have a hard time socializing - he actually loved to talk, back when he was younger -, but he just could not 'work' with boys and girls around him. To solve that problem, he was moved to a classroom with only two other students in it, and he became fine, actually making a friend with one of the other students. That friend wound up being an important role in his life, not only getting him hooked onto history, but also teaching him his 'pacifist' ways. After about twelve years, Avie moved in with this friend, who lived with his uncle. Avie was a little too tired of his mother's verbal abuse. There, at around the age of fourteen and a half, Avie learned that he was not interested in female nor male in any sexual form. Despite how many gorgeous actresses ( or actors ) he would look at, he felt no feeling toward, no sexual desire. After figuring that out, he learned the biggest news of all: That he is a demigod. While watching a very graphic video of a woman giving birth ( which was something he had to do at the age of fifteen, in health class ), he noticed something outside. It being the middle of the afternoon, you would think he would know what this 'thing' is. But he could not tell what it was, and so instantly he went to investigate. Only, his best friend could see it as well, but had not went out with him. Something happened. Something big had happened. But Avie could not remember to save his life. All he knew was that when he woke up, he had a long curving scar starting underneath his first rib and ending around the middle of his back, and that he was not in London, anymore... and he woke up wearing his best friend's hoodie. rp sample: Avie smiled up at the gray-eyed girl he deeply disliked, his own green eyes glaring daggers at her. He hated her. He hated her with a passion, and he didn't even hate people. He wanted her dead and gone. That would make life so much easier for him... "What? Cat got your tongue, Avie?" breathed Nic, grinning just as smugly. The mute male did not flinch when she spoke, did not wince when she pulled out a knife from her coat pocket, did not even blink as she approached him steadily as she had done once before. How pathetic. She couldn't even use a different strategy to take him out. She had to use the same way she had when she had cornered him and cut out his very vocal chords. He shook his head, feeling the adrenaline pump through his veins again. He was ready for this. He was prepared, this time. The last time, she had gotten the upper hand. She had taken him by surprise, having pressed a knife against his throat, stating how she would kill the only person he actually cared for if he told that she had been the one to do this. But now he was prepared. And even if he couldn't scream for help - couldn't beg for mercy, as much as one part of his mind wanted him to do that -, he would get as much attention as he would with a voice. The black-haired fourteen year old girl dashed forward, not prepared to leave here without that pair of amazing green eyes. Not prepared to leave without the black hair that was on his head. Not prepared to leave without his life. And then the man she loved would love her. She knew it would happen that way. 'Psychotic bitch', Avie mouthed, jumping out of the way as a knife stabbed where his head had just been. "He will love me!" she retaliated, turning and taking another lunge, this time managing to get the knife to hit something. However, this something was the wall, though, and the knife was plunged in deeply. Avie picked up the book he had currently been reading - a dictionary with well over two-thousand pages -, and slammed it down on the back of her head, grinning all the more. He would kill her. He really would. But he was violating his own rules by knocking her out. So he would do the second best thing, and he would snitch on her. mickey . none . a couple years . percy jackson |
