When you've lived at a camp since you were a little kid, life could get uber boring. Especially when everyone seemed to be away for the winter. Kaiden was laying in her bed, rubbing one of her hands over the electric blue plush blanket. She lifted her right hand, looking at the ceiling, and threw her dagger straight forward, where it hit the wall on the other side of the room. The dagger vibrated as it stuck in the wall, making a low humming noise. Kaiden sighed and reached out for the dagger, and as it sensed the strong positive charge coming from her hand, it came flying back to her like a very strong magnet. Kaiden repeated this exercise many time before quickly becoming bored with it and just letting the dagger remain stuck in the wall. Kaiden looked up slightly at it and saw it was stuck in a small mural of Zeus on the wall, right in between his eyes. It looked as if she had been hitting the same spot over at over again.
Kaiden moaned in boredom, wishing more than anything for someone to be around, perhaps Kyle, or even a daughter of Aphrodite. Someone to be around so she had something to do. She sat up and pulled the short layers at the bottom of her hair into a pony tail, leaving her 'poof' up. Kaiden took off her glasses and walked to the bathroom, pulling her contacts case from a drawer and promptly sticking them in turn in her eyes. She tossed her glasses onto her bed and she neared it. A small window was above her bed, that's why she had picked it when she first arrived at camp. The always perfect light of camp shone in, falling on her dagger. The dagger seemed to glow in this light, a golden aura danced off of at and onto the walls. Suddenly, Kaiden felt bad for not using it on a proper target. Zeus's face simply would not do for this fine weapon. Kaiden grinned, an idea coming to her to get her out of the cabin and break her streak of boredom. No one even need to be around for it!
So, Kaiden changed out of her striped pajama pants into a pair of black nylon soccer pants, the ones with mesh on the inside, and pulled on her 'why so serious?' joker shirt. She grabbed her parkor shoes, the black ones with electric blue soles and laces, and pulled them on quickly. Then, she tucked her dagger on the inside of her waistband, as she always did, and began to walk out the door. The second she touched the knob though, a feeling or forgetfulness coursed through her and Kaiden spun around. She glanced at her bed, unmade and looking laid on, and a sparkle caught her eye. Her gold ring was sitting on her favorite stuffed hippo. Kaiden reached out for it and felt the pull in her hand. She tilted her hand down a little bit and it zipped onto her ring finger. Kaiden sighed and smiled, thankful it was metal, and thankful she had remembered.
The daughter of Zeus then left the cabin and jogged outside, taking a nice easy pace so as to not tire herself out, but warm her up. Her pants swished together as she ran, a familiar and comforting sound. Kaiden closed her eyes for a moment and enjoyed a cool breeze. It was always beautiful at camp half-blood, perfect training conditions. The camp seemed empty, though, and deserted. Everyone she knew wasn't here, and maybe that's why when she passed the cabins they seemed hollow and lonely. Kaiden shook her head, eager to get away from gloomy thoughts.
When Kaiden reached the arena, her final destination, she pulled several dummies to the center and some targets around. When she finished moving things, it looked like an obstacle course, almost. The demi-god stretched quickly standing up. She quickly pulled out her dagger, gripping it so the blade was down so she could slash, and set off sprinting through her little training course. She slashed and stabbed, kicked and elbowed, she even used some parkor moves in her little exercise, spinning in the air while vertical, jumping off of other targets and dummies, and flipping to change direction. Kaiden began to sweat, enjoying her little game, when she finished all too soon. She stood in the middle, slashed dummies spewing out their sand insides, and smiled. Kaiden was proud of herself, she was barely breathing hard and she had finished the course in less that five minutes.
Then the thought occurred to her that this would be more fun if she was up against someone, or if the dummies were coming at her, looking for her harm. She sighed, irritated that her plan to become unlonely did not work, and began to push and pull the dummies around again, hoping that finally she would become distracted enough with fighting and training that she wouldn't notice the absence of everyone away. Maybe if she tried a new weapon...

Because one could be that bored.
Avie growled quietly, flipping through the pages of the thick book he has read at least fifteen times now, finding himself more and more bored by the second. He could most likely recite every line in the first few pages, licking his lips as he finally shoved the book away from him on his bed, eyes partly burning from having stayed open for so long.
Boredom. It sucks.
The raven sat up in his bed and groaned this time, rubbing tired eyes. He wanted something to do aside from reading. He read every day, aside from drawing as well. Though, he sucked at drawing, and it was not like he could go and visit the lovely pegasus stable. Damn his allergies. He was stuck with nothing aside from eating, from sleeping, and from reading this giant book. Dyslexia did not help in the least, and when he found that he could not overcome it, he was just left with his usual schedule.
Oh. A schedule.
Life was a schedule, especially when it came to his life. He did not have a blessed thing to do that was different. A shower every day, unless he didn't feel like crawling out of bed. Sometimes he skipped meals because he was feeling like a rebel, but it was all the same. And horribly boring.
So today he would do something different, and go to the most vial place in this camp.
The arena was difficult to understand. Who would want to go there? Well, of course, aside from his brother and sisters who absolutely loved violence, and then the campers who actually wanted to be able to fight monsters or something. But it was stupid. Violence did not solve anything, did not help anyone when it came to things... it just harmed. Being able to handle a weapon might be useful for some things, but even so...
The pacifist thought about this difficult subject while walking towards the arena.
He was going to go merely to walk around and examine why people might practice there. The dummies were not made to fight back, were they? The last this child of Area had checked, they had not. They simply stood there while the attacker would attack, and how they reformed or something, he had absolutely no clue. If they just replaced the destroyed dummies, they must have wasted a lot of product... like sand, for example.
...Driven by boredom, Avie felt as though he were going to rip his own head off and let the people practice their weapons on it.
The seventeen year old stuffed his hands into the hoodie that he wore everyday - a crimson hoodie with a fake-fur trimmed hood - and continued on to the practice arena, already noticing someone there from where he was. A woman, obviously, which only succeeded in agitating him more. Was no one else in this camp as peaceful as he was?
...Ha, that was a lie. Him being 'peaceful'.
The girl was obviously pretty good. He witnessed her work from afar, and she was about as good as any child of Ares... you know, aside from himself. She would probably be better at fighting than him because she was good, and he never even truly fought. Maybe speaking to this girl would make him not so bored.
If only he could be social with girls. Or guys, for that matter.
When he finally did make it to the girl, he stood there in his black skinny jeans, just watching her. He didn't know what to say. Introduce himself? He didn't want to seem like he was desperate.
...Okay, he was.
"Hi...?" he whispered shyly, unsurely, green eyes watching the girl. He was still so awkward around both genders he had never met. Though, that would not keep him from breaking his schedule.
notess;; well, I am bored, and my thread is going nowhere. aside from that, I've been dying to roleplay with you again, kaiden!

Kaiden had set up the dummies in over a dozen different arrangements before she grew increasingly bored with her...'oppenents.' All they did was drop sand and tire her muscles. She would spin around and fight them, her instincts expecting a blow in return, but never recieving one. But she contiuned to reset them, occasionally getting lost in her excercise. Her bangs began to stick to her forehead from sweat. Kaiden didn't care thought because no one was watching. Or so she thought. Without her knowing, the demi-god had gained a visitor on her little training session. After a run or two, they spoke.
"Hi...?" she heard a masculine voice from behind her as she swung to her right and slashed a dummy.
Kaiden was in full swing now, and had too much momentum to stop. So she turned to the dummy behind her quickly, flipped the dagger into her left hand, and punched the dummy with all her strength. The adrenaline began to leak out of her and she stopped, wiping her forehead with the back of hand. Kaiden looked to the speaker, pulling her shirt quickly back and forth, airing her chest and stomach. She breathed heavily as she looked him over. He wore a crimson hoodie with fake fur and seemed fairly big to her. She raised her eyebrows, her blue eyes no doubt looking absolutely electrifying.
"Uhm, hi?" she asked, a little irritated. Then she heard the rudeness in her tone and realized that here was another, probably looking for something to do. "I apologize, that was rude. I don't think we've met before. Can I help you?"
Kaiden scratched the back of her knek with her dagger, her hair standing a little bit as her own electricity pulsed through her. She pulled the dagger away, her hair fell, and she flipped it in her hand. Her eyes looked towards the guy, overlooking him once more. He seemed tough to her, and yet he had this aura of peace. It confused Kaiden a little, as well as intrigiued her to discover more about this visitor. Who's son was he? Why was he here? Had he been watching her the whole time? How long had he lived here, and how had she not noticed him before? Kaiden hoped he was rather new to camp so as to damage her 'I-know-practically-everyone-and-their-cousins' reputation.
"I'm Kaiden," she said, holding out her hand for him to shake. "How long have you been watching me?"

Almost instantly, Avie's face flushed a deep red, putting a tomato to shame easily.
It had been something he was cursed with since he could remember. He was just that awkward. With thin, dangly limbs, he would sit in school and not be able to do his work because children around him talked in class, and a lot of the time, people tried talking to him. It was just a little... hard. Like how some things come hard to some people, this came hard to Avie. Which was why he was cast as a bit of a loner.
Anti-social. And he still had awkward, dangly, thin limbs.
As she spoke, he watched her with some sense of curiousity. Did she train for the adrenaline, or perhaps it was for the fun? She looked pretty excited, with the sweat that he could just make out from the safe distance he stood away from her, and with the eyes that looked almost... what was the word... exhilarating. She was beautiful, in all honest reasoning, and he wondered for a couple seconds why she was here alone.
Because she can kill with those ways of using that knife.
Well, that was rude. The way she simply introduced herself. Avie flicked his tongue, his face finally cooling down, his eyes having an amused glint in them. She had been practicing, and he interrupted her right in the middle. Though he knew he was not the one at fault, so he had nothing to say, at least until she apologized. At least she could catch her mistakes and fix them properly, unlike some of the jerks in this camp that could literally push one out of the way and not give a care in the world.
"I'm Kaiden," Just when had she gotten so close? Close enough that all he had to do was lift up an arm to shake the hand she had extended out towards him. "How long have you been watching me?"
The correct term at that probably would have been something along the lines of 'how long have you been staring at my every move, trying to find out what god I belong to?'. Though, she did not know he had been staring, that he had merely been curious as to how one person like her could carry such, such violence despite having quite a nice look to her, and what she did not know would not hurt her.
Finally the child of Ares sighed, pulling a cold hand out of his pocket and hesitantly grabbing her hand, shaking it slowly. Well, it was good to take tiny steps. Though she probably thought him a bit off, he felt as though he had an accomplishment.
Because everything else he could do but be social.
...And draw.
"I'm Avie Summons," he finally said, a smile tugging at his lips. He had to be nice, and so far he was doing it. Of course, not like he had to force himself to, but... he just didn't want to somehow turn into a mean, stereotyped child of the god of war. He feared that happening, though, he also feared giants, and he knew well for a fact he would never be a giant at the height of five foot nine inches. "And... well, I wasn't particularly watching you for a long while, but long enough to know that you could rough me up just for the fun of it and..." he pause for a second, as if thinking for more words. "...I would be unable to fight back."
Then he pulled his hand back, biting the inside of his cheek as he turned his gaze from her to the dummies behind her, and then back to the knife in her hand. Kaiden, hm? Just her name sounded familiar, as if he heard it being shared through campers' conversations.
For a second, he found himself rendered speechless when he picked up an aura of power. As in, lots of it. It... sparked his attention, if one would word it like that, and he questioned why he had not picked it up in the first place. She was a child of the 'big three'. He just was unsure of which she was.
"Correct me if I'm wrong," he started after a couple seconds, looking back into those bright eyes. "but are you a child of Zeus? I'm a child of Ares..." Because it is only nice that she knows his god if he knew her's.
He just hoped that she was not stereotypical, like some people could be.

"It's a pleasure, Avie," Kaiden said as they grasped hands. She admired the grip of his handshake- he didn't give her a limp fish hand like a lot of people. So she assumed he had good character, and she trusted him.
How funny. He thought she could ruff him up and he wouldn't be able to lay a finger on her. While kaiden was flattered, she hardly believed this to be true. Granted, she was good at close range fighting, but she still had her ass handed to her by Kyle on a near daily basis when he was around. She didn't get good from nothing. Plus, all the Ares kids, Apollo kids, and the hunters all had skills that could take her down from afar if she wasn't paying attention. As Kaiden looked over Avie once again, she felt that he could beat her up if he really wanted to. But by the way his hands were in his pockets and his shoulders hunched, she highly doubted he wanted to hurt anyone. At this moment anyways.
For a moment, Kaiden wondered if he was as lonely as she was, or maybe just bored. Why else had he come to the arena? Not many people liked to come here when the craft shack was open all the time, and the pegasi needing to be flown. Had he heard her and come to look? Or was this where he ended up. Kaiden shook her head slightly to clear her thoughts and sighed. There went her ADD again, distracting her when she needed to focus. It was one thing when you had adrenaline pumping through you, it made you focus on the danger. But talking to an innocent kid really was an oppertune moment for her ADD to take her away. Kaiden nearly missed his question when she refocused.
"Correct me if I'm wrong," he started after a couple seconds, "But are you a child of Zeus? I'm a child of Ares..."
Well, it explained why he seemed like he could beat her up when they were around the same size. Avie didn't seem like he was proud of being Ares's son, like most of the pigheaded brutes were, and it reminded her of another child of Ares, Sylvie, who was the sweetest girl ever, and probably a disgrace to her father. Well, until the pressure of being said disgrace finally made her crack and kill someone. But that was besides the point. Avie actually seemed more like Sylvie than any other war demi-god she had met. Maybe it was in Ares's genes to have some kind-hearted children. Kaiden noted that Avie's size wasn't as large either, as if he didn't enjoy constantly pumping iron and training like his fellow siblings. The thought made her smile. What did he do in his free time in that cabin? Or did he leave the cabin?
Kaiden really took in his appearance at this moment, not really moving her eyes, but just noting what she had seen. Green eyes, skinny jeans. Lanky. Kaiden noted that they shared style, and she noticed that he was cute. Well, compared to most. But responded quickly, these thoughts flying through her mind with her ADD.
"Yes I am," she smiled at him. "I don't have the pig-head gene though. or so I think."
The daughter of Zeus flipped her dagger in her hand and then put it back in her waistband. She probably wouldn't be using it anytime soon- she had found another way out of her boredom- conversation. Kaiden pulled her gold cardinal necklace out from under her shirt, moved the clasp back around to her neck, and began fiddling with the charm. She ran her tumb over her initials.
It was quiet for a moment. Avie seemed like he was having a hard time finding conversation, which wasn't a problem. If need-be, Kaiden could ramble his ear off until he felt like commenting. it would take the pressure off him to talk anyways, and it gave her something to do. Plus, she'd been wishing for someone to talk to for weeks.
"Avie do you ever wish you could... I do't know, visit the zoo or something?" she started. "One thing I've really missed since coming here is visiting the sharks at the aquarium, and the giraffes at the zoo."
She paused, giving him a moment so he wouldn't think she was so obsessed with herself she would just continue going.
notes;; haha at least your passing right? chemistry is KILLING ME this year. and it's good toknow you're living your life. I really would like to know where you people get these 'lives' and where I could find one, because I certainly do not have a life XD

Was it really a pleasure to meet him? To meet someone as different as he was? He was not a normal child of Ares. He defied what little logic there was anymore in this crazy place. This teen was actually nice, though much too shy, and his siblings were practically the opposite; mean, rough, and definitely not scared to speak their mind.
"Is it?" he mumbled quietly, smiling weakly. She was a pleasure, and when she shook his hand he felt a little more energized. It sort of reminded him of those rather weird and yet funny commercials with the 'energizer bunny'. It was honestly for a battery, but even so, this girl that he had met and watched for a couple of minutes reminded him of that energizer bunny.
He was not the only one who was troubled with ADD.
"Hn," he sounded, returning the hand he had used to shake her's into his pocket, looking at her just as she looked at him. He had longer to take in her appearance, but even so, he watched her as if he were just doing this for the first time today. After she clarified she was a child of Zeus but without the temper of him, Avie began to notice just how many aspects she had that reminded him of the god of all gods. First thing was first, the ring on her finger that he had noticed when shaking her hand. It had little things of lightning on it. If that didn't scream out child of Zeus, than nothing would. Though the eyes were also obvious, with how blue they were, and just the personality she had to her.
...Was he that much like his parent as she was to her's?
"Avie do you ever wish you could... I don't know, visit the zoo or something?" At her pause he grimaced, thinking of just how badly he would react to all those animals and their fur. "One thing I've really missed since coming here is visiting the sharks at the aquarium, and the giraffes at the zoo."
Though he understood kind of what she meant. She wanted to do stuff that normal people did. Like practicing a religion in a church. She wanted to be able to do stuff, just how people with a certain religion wanted to practice that religion. Though, did she have a religion? Now that she knew there were gods and goddesses, did she still believe in Christianity? Or maybe she was Jewish, or maybe even muslim.
She just wanted to do stuff like teenagers should, and he agreed with her.
The child of Ares pulled a hand out of his pocket and gently itched his cheek, already itching at the thought that had flew through his mind on animals. "Well..." he blinked, trying to find a nice way to word what he had to say. "if I were to go to a zoo, I would... most likely... die from it." his smile stayed on his face, though, because the idea of seeing a bunch of exotic animals was amusing. Despite the whole thing about allergies. "Though, yes, I've wanted to go someplace aside from here many times. One too many times to count. Whether it be only a mile outside camp or all the way back home, I have wanted to leave."
He oh-so-desperately wanted to leave.
The black headed male let that hand drop to his side, his eyes falling half-lidded as he gazed at Kaiden. She didn't seem too bad of a person. Maybe a little harmful when practicing on these dummies, but she seemed nice.
"Pegasi just aren't enough when there are many more animals out there and not within our grasp, are they?" he concluded quietly, his smile disappearing.
notess;; haha, chemistry. i hate that subject. and... sure, i am passing, despite what my father says about my report card. oh, and lives are up aisle three in walmart:3

Kaiden smiled at the thought of leaving camp. The last time she had left was back in the summer, when everyone was around. She had visited the beach- though getting in was an awful idea, the coast of new york wasm't exactly the cleanest around. What kaiden really wanted to do was go to the convience store, to get some jelly beans. She hadn't had any in a long while.
Avie had mentioned home. There was no way she could go home now. Her scent would drag every monster ever to her doorstep, and what if they hurt her sister? That's why she had gone to her aunt's anyways, to keep the monsters away from Jamiee. And then they had found her at her aunts and she had to leave so they wouldn't hurt any of her family- especially her cousin. Absentmindedly, Kaiden fingered a handmade bracelet- about an inch wide with a mustache on it- remember the maker. It would be nice to go home. But they knew better.
"Pegasi just aren't enough when there are many more animals out there and not within our grasp, are they?" Avie said, the smile he had leaving his face. This made Kaiden sad, seeing his smile disappear. Whether he knew it or not, it really lit up his face and eyes.
"Well," Kaiden said mischeviously, a smirk that rivaled a child of hermes on her face. "No one's...forcing us to stay."
She grinned wider. The wind picked up a little and pulled at her pants and hair, blowing it to her right. Wouldn't that be exciting- leaving camp, going on an adventure. She hadn't done it in awhile because no one here would go with her- no one had a reason to. Maybe she could get Avie here to come along with her, and possibly she could find out more about him, why the idea of zoos seemed to daunt him, why he was here when no one was. It could be exciting.
"What would you say about heading into town with me? I could use a trip to the convinience store- I'm nearly out of jelly beans, you see." she winked. The daughter of Zeus hoped with all her heart he would be okay with an idea.
She needed a friend.

Avie smirked at the sight of her smile. She had quite a nice smile. In fact, she had a nice everything - it just took a little getting used to. He wouldn't find out right away all of her flaws and perfections right away, despite how much he wanted to, so he could live with pointing out the nice traits she had.
Like that smile.
"Well, no one's... forcing us to stay."
"Huh?" The raven blinked, trying to register what she said. What had they been talking about again? He was too busy admiring her eyes, and now that he looked closely, he noticed a smirk on her face that was much too similar to a child of Hermes' smirk. Mischevious, devilish, any kind of word that meant it would most likely cause trouble. Though, trouble could sometimes be a good thing, especially when you were someone like Avie, and because he had absolutely nothing to do these days aside from his usual routine...
Gods, he thought to himself, eyes blinking rapidly, trying to clear his mind that way. He didn't work; his mind was suddenly wound up too fast, going on and on about what he should and shouldn't do, what and who they were speaking about, and just why Kaiden would probably fit the Hermes persona better than the whole 'I am a child of Zeus' deal.
...He was utterly confused, and he hated it.
"What would you say about heading into town with me? I could use a trip to the convinience store- I'm nearly out of jelly beans, you see."
Avie stopped with the blinking and instead looked off towards his cabin, where he knew his book would be on his bed, awaiting his return. Unless his siblings took the book and hid it, or tore it to pieces. Than this particular son of war would have a fit, and have to go somewhere far to lose all his steam, and then sneak out of camp to buy not only another thick book to read, but perhaps another sketchbook to ruin it's pages with his ugly drawing skills.
Then he looked back to her, raising that hand again and scratching the back of his head. Jelly beans, eh? He didn't particularly like jelly beans; he preferred those chocolate easter eggs filled with cream in the middle. Those were the delights he sometimes wasted his money on, buying multiple at a time so that he could save some for later, rather than having to go back out of camp, risk getting caught or hurt by a monster, and buying more. Once he was done scratching his head for no apparent reason, he shoved that hand back into his pocket quickly, biting his upper lip.
"I suppose..." he whispered incoherently, looking back at her, wondering if they were only going to hit the store to buy jelly beans. That would be too short, and then he would be back at camp, and his 'free time' would be over. He would have to return to his cabin, before eating dinner, and then take a shower before going to bed... and he really hated sleeping in his cabin. He had not been to sleep for the past five nights because he was haunted by the nightmare of not only giants, but of Ares coming and making his life miserable.
...Wait, that already happened.
Avie shook his head, this time successfully clearing his mind, a smile replacing the small frown that had formed in the middle of his thoughts about his cabin. "If you wouldn't mind coming back without me. I would absolutely love to have a closer look at the city that I live in, and if you only want to go to the store to buy jelly beans..." he paused again, drawing in a deep breath. "...I will not drag you around, eh?"
He sort of wanted those chocolate easter eggs, now.
notess;; dude. charlie's candy mountain does not have chocolate easter eggs. ...dude, i want them chocolate easter eggs. darn you, avie, liking them eggs! >XD

When Avie agreed to come with her, Kaiden nearly flying tackle-glomped him. She squealed with excitement and hugged him quickly, smiling from ear to ear. Then he said something about he how he wanted to check out the city, and he didn't want to drag her along. Was he kidding? There was no one she was leaving the camp just for a bag of jelly beans. There were so many more things to do- like visit central park in New York City, or ride the subway, or go have a piece of pizza! Kaiden took a deep breath though, to calm herself before she spoke.
"You would be doing me a favor by letting me come with you to explore the city," the daughter of Zeus felt her spirits lift at the thought, "You wouldn't be dragging me along- unless you wanted to go alone, in which case I would probably get really irritating or annoying or something after awhile."
Kaiden imagined coming back to camp alone. She wouldn't do that. If he wanted to be a lone, Kaiden would leave him be, but go do something else. It wasn't often she got to sneak out after all, beeing the daughter of the biggest of the big three. The monsters wanted to devour her. Hades and Hera probably weren't too fond of her either, and they probably both had other things coming after her. Especially Hera. Poseidon didn't seem to have a problem with her, but probably because he had kids at camp- her cousins. But this wasn't a chance she would get rid of too quickly.
Besides, if she were out and about it would distract the monsters from Avie. Either that or there would be monster-palooza because there were two demi-gods in one city. Maybe that would be fun, fighting off monsters. But humans would get in the way and it would be messy. No fun in that.
"Where were you planning on going?" Kaiden asked, genuinely interested. "Somewhere historical maybe?"
notes;; really??? it doesn't?? DANGGIT!!!

"A-ah!!" cried out the child of Ares, not expecting to be hugged all of the sudden. Especially by the girl he just met. But it was nice to have a hug, because hugs were things that he rarely received anymore. Yet he did not hug back, eyes widening more than they had before in the first place. He felt as though his muscles had frozen, and he was left with stiff, rigid limbs that would not move for the life of him.
"You would be doing me a favor by letting me come with you to explore the city," Would he really? He wasn't exactly that exciting, he wasn't that funny... he was just... himself. Nothing new. "You wouldn't be dragging me along- unless you..."
The raven tuned the rest out, wanting to listen but thinking about what will - or might - happen if they do leave.
They go shopping, they walk around, they return. Nothing bad could possibly happen from that... right...?
...Yeah, sure. Nothing would happen.
Avie refocused, hearing her last question of where he planned on going. Where could he go? He didn't know this place. It was unlike London in the least. One thing being that it didn't rain as much... and just the architecture. Everything seemed different from his home...
Home. He missed his best friend terribly.
"Ah..." he smiled, glad she pulled away. "No where in general... just anywhere aside from here. Maybe we could look around for a candy store that might have some really good candies..."
Like those chocolates.
notess:. which is why we go attack now. and this is very short.

Looking around for candy sounded terrific, but it sounded even better with someone to do it with. Kaiden felt nearly eccstatic with excitement. Finally, something fun to do and someone to do it with! Kaiden wondered for amoment where she had left her wallet (in the back right pocket of her skinny jeans, under her bed next to a book that she had fallen asleep reading the night before and had fallen off the bed itself.) She would need to go get that, her driver's license, and- Kaiden thought as she imagined how she smeeled after that work out- a change in clothes. The ones she already had on were quite comfortable, but unfortunately she had coated them with a nice layer of sweat that would need to be cleaned off soon. And if she had worked out that hard, she would need a shower. Kaiden hated feeling dirty longer than she had to- especially with the best showers on earth right here in cabin, in her own cabin.
"Before we go," the demi-god started, "Do you mind if I, uh, 'freshened-up' at my cabin? I've been working out for a little bit and well..."
She exaggeratedly pretended to sniff her armpitts and reel back from the smell. Kaiden smiled and laughed at herself- sometimes she did the stupidest things. It was one of those endearing features she assumed had rubbed off from Kyle.
"Plus," she said, "I've got to grab my license. There's no way in the Underworld we're walking all the way there- unless you want to?" Kaiden raised her eyebrow, challenging him with her last sentence. A smirk was on her face. If he wanted to walk- she would walk, but quickly, making it fun.
Kaiden began to fan herself with one hand, sweating again from the heat she was releasing. Hopefully she could get her shower- and soon.
"We could meet up in front of Thalia's Tree. That way you can grab whatever you need from your cabin, or hide anything (which is totally understable, I have to hide stuff from my brother all the time- he and his best friend enjoy stealing my stuff, it's like a sport to them.) Does that sound okay with you?"
notes;; haha she rambled there for a sec. they shud be bestust buddies forever

Avie stood there, shifting his weight from one foot to another, eyebrows furrowing together as he tried to think without his thoughts rambling off.
When the daughter of Zeus asked her next question, Avie's face flushed instantly, and his green eyes went wide with shock.
"I-I'm not the boss of you-!" he exclaimed, taking a step backwards as if to prove it. When she went and 'pretended' to sniff her armpit, though, his nose wrinkled as the corner of his mouth twitched. Eh... this girl was... quite a weird one. Yet she was different, different from the people he were used to... and he rather enjoyed it. "...B-but of course. I am pretty sure both you and I would not want to be walking around the streets of New York with you all... sweaty."
His face paled as he said that. "N-not to offend y-you or anything... I am just saying you would probably be more comfortable without... you know... those clothes."
The raven glanced up towards the sky, sighing thoughtfully, wondering if other kids did this. If other kids made plans to sneak out of this camp and go buy candy. Or if they just left without a care, because Avie knew he could leave and no one would notice his absence, and he was fine with that, because the less people knew about him, the better. He did not want to be known because he knew he would not make a big impact on this world, and he would be gone before he knew it, and he did not want anyone to suffer over such a simple loss.
...It would be easy to walk out of camp right now, because no one cared.
"We could meet up in front of Thalia's Tree. That way you can grab whatever you need from your cabin, or hide anything (which is totally understable, I have to hide stuff from my brother all the time- he and his best friend enjoy stealing my stuff, it's like a sport to them.) Does that sound okay with you?" Kaiden's voice brought him back to reality, and he closed his eyes, rolling his neck as he tried slightly to crack it. Having kept it in one position for so long completely and utterly hurt, more than he could imagine.
"It is fine with me," he muttered, opening his eyes, turning and walking towards Thalia's tree without even a simple goodbye.
...But wait, that was rude.
The child of Ares paused mid-step, sighing again, eyes locked on his destination; Thalia's tree.
"Kaiden..." he said her name softly, as if it were his first time saying it, and he was trying to say it correctly. "...Take your time. Don't rush for me... I've got all night." With that he continued walking, not caring if his siblings destroyed his books. Avie already had some folded dollar bills in this hoodie of his, and he had himself, calm and collected. He need not one more thing... aside from Kaiden to keep him company.
Which, he would wait for her. He wouldn't hide behind Thalia's tree; he would sit with his back resting up against it, and he would look around for nothing in particular, take in his surroundings, and merely wait.
He had been waiting for a change for a long while since coming to this camp, so he could wait a little longer, couldn't he?
notess;; they shall, shan't they?
