Cat was bored. She was lying on her bed all alone in the Hermes cabin: all of her siblings, including Nestor, were off doing camp activities. The same could be said of the unclaimed demigods. It was just her and the ever-decaying cabin that she called a home all year round. In saying that, Cat now had time to play a little game of Sticky Fingers. And that's without using the powers she was blessed with since birth.
Looking round at the mess at her feet, Cat did not fancy her chances of finding anything of particular value, bearing in mind any unclaimed demigods had barely anything on them whenever they first arrive at camp. Add to this the fact that Cat's siblings were also thieves and as such, had probably taken appropriate action to stop their own stuff being taken.
Bending down, Cat unzipped a bag at her feet. This particular bag belonged to a newbie who had arrived at camp last night and hadn't been claimed yet. So much to learn. So so much. "Let me see, what have we got in here?" the girl said to herself with her hand scrapping around in the depths of the bag in front of her. The kid had definitely headed any advice given to him about staying with the Hermes cabin. Did he have no sense of trust or security now that he was at camp? It wasn't like a monster was going to attack this very instant. If it did, Cat knew she could take it.
Glancing at the doorway, Cat knew no one would catch her - she was a daughter to the God of Thieves.
